How much is a single room supplement? Also I arrive at 5pm into manilla on the day the tour starts. Is that ok?

On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities, so you can choose to arrive at any time. 5pm is perfect! The group usually meets at 7pm for a welcome dinner. Your Group Leader will confirm the exact meeting time and details with you on the day. We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. If you still want to go ahead with a private room, let me know which currency you'll be paying in and I can send you over a quote.

Do you offer any extra activities on top of the ones listed? We are mostly interested in diving.

There aren't any optional activities perse, however there will be time for you to do some diving while you are visiting Palawan and Coron, your Group Leader will be able to assist in organising this and arranging the best times so you don't miss any other activities!

I was hoping it would be possible to get some information on the current average and age spand of the people signed up for the departure of 19th of May?

We currently have 17 booked on to the 19th May start date. Majority females, 4 males. Eleven of the group are 25 - 36, and the rest under 25.

Would it be possible to get some information about the current size of the group, the age range and the age average for the groups departing on the 10th and 13th of April?

The 10th April has 11 bookings 5M + 6F with majority in their 20s and 30s. The 13th April has 19 bookings 7M + 12F with majority in their 20s

I arrive in Manila on the 8th, do I need to get accommodations for the 12? Or do we already have where to say that night?

If you're arriving on the 8th, you will need 4 extra pre-nights booked at the group accommodation. Would you like us to get these added to your booking? This will cost $26 USD per person per night in a multi-share room. Or $60 per room per night ($30 each if sharing with your friend).

I am definitely keen to do either one tour that covers those areas around Cebu and the areas around Palawan. Or two tours that do it separately. The only thing is that we land in Cebu from New Zealand so is it possible to cut out the Manila part of the trip we enquired about or is there a different one leaving from Cebu?

Our 13-day Philippines tour is priced at $3,699 per person. As all of our tours are sold as set packages, we're unable to shorten or split the itinerary to adjust the price. You're very welcome to join the group in Cebu on Day 2 (4th Feb), however the tour price would remain the same even if you miss the first day.

What is the maximum number of people that can be accommodated in one room on this trip? I'm a solo traveler and I don't want to sleep in a dormitory.

Most of our trips use twin share rooms, which means you'll only ever share with one other traveler of the same gender. No dorm rooms at all, so you can rest easy knowing you'll have a comfy space to relax after each day's adventure.

Is there an age limit?

The majority of our group members on our Philippines trips are in their 20's and 30's, so unfortunately I don't think our tours would be suitable for you.

Are we allowed to join the tour if we are over 50 years old but fit?

The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 40s and 50s travel with us and have an incredible time. As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

What time do we all meet on day 1 in Manila for this tour?

On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities during the day as this is when most people choose to arrive. The group meets around 7pm for a welcome dinner, so we recommend arriving before then if possible. If not, no worries! We can still arrange your airport pickup, and you can meet up with the group afterwards.

I had a great experience on this trip to the Philippines! The highlight was definitely the boat expeditions. The nature is stunning, the water is crystal clear and the mountains surrounding us were beautiful. The crew on the boat expedition were fantastic, super friendly. The chef cooked amazing food on the boat, and we were welcome to learn and try to make food with them. We had a blast at the sardinerun as well. The weather during the trip was shifting, from all sunshine to pouring rain! I had Elay as my group leader and she was amazing. A bundle of joy, and she still was very professional and made sure everyone was safe and had everything they needed. She was observant and cared for each person in the group.Show more

Can't fault. Flawless tour with an excellent guide (Andri). It wasn't until I was back travelling on my own that I realised how easy it was to travel with Intro Travel. Everything was taken care of, I didn't need to worry about transport, accommodation or meals. For someone who usually meticulously plans their own trips, letting someone else take care of everything was a refreshing change, and I don't think I could have done it any better myself. All the stress and work of travel was taken care of and done so efficiently, leaving me to enjoy just the good parts. We visited some amazing places, ate great meals and had plenty of fun nights out. We had a very experienced and fun guide in Andri and also the local Filipino guides who assisted went above and beyond (there photo skills are next level). The group was great fun and everyone got on well. The beautiful beaches and warm water was a highlight. Being on or in the water most days was perfect for such a hot climate. Would definitely consider Intro Travel for my next trip ?.Show more

I had the best time on my Philippines 13 day Intro tour. It included all the activities I wanted to do whilst in the Philippines whilst still giving us time to enjoy all the places we stopped. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and ensured our whole tour was stress free, so we could fully enjoy and be present in the moment. Our tour guide (Zoe) was equally great at bringing the whole group together so it felt like one big travel family. Would highly recommend!Show more

I don’t think we could have asked for a better tour leader than Kyle to navigate us through not one, but two typhoons. Despite the surprise typhoons Kyle kept the vibes positive with his karaoke, dancing and personality. Where some activities were cancelled by the coastguard, Kyle arranged alternatives so that we were still able to have a great time as a group. I used this as the beginning of my philippines travel, meaning I was able to carry on exploring with friends I made from the group. Kyle’s travel knowledge was also incredible meaning that he was giving advice for destinations past the end of our Intro tour. We also had Alex join our tour as a leader and he was a fantastic addition to our tour group. His friendly and positive attitude meant that he was always checking in and ensuring the group was having a good time! The trip itself removes all the stress of making decision while travelling, letting you just enjoy the experience and make lots of friends with others on the tour. I would recommend this tour to others, and I look forward to booking another tour with Intro!Show more

I just finished the 13 day Philippines Island Hopping tour and it was incredible despite two typhoons during our trip. Our group leader, Kyle, was brilliant at keeping the mood and vibes up throughout the rain and made sure we had a good time. We didn’t get to do the canyoneering with the weather but he provided alternative activities to make sure we still had activities to do. I met wonderful new friends and made amazing memories on this trip. Would recommend to anyone!Show more

How much is a single room supplement? Also I arrive at 5pm into manilla on the day the tour starts. Is that ok?

Single supplement
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written September 2026
On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities, so you can choose to arrive at any time. 5pm is perfect! The group usually meets at 7pm for a welcome dinner. Your Group Leader will confirm the exact meeting time and details with you on the day.

We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. - INTRO TravelOperator•Written April 2026
The 19th May start date will have a mix of travellers joining us for the 13 day and the 17 day option. After the 13 dayers finish the trip, the 17 dayers will carry on for the last few days together. For the 19th May start date, there are currently 11 booked on to the 13 day option and 6 booked on to the full 17 day option. The final group breakdown is subject to change.

I would be more interested in the average age of the group, as I the upper age range of 36 might only be one person, and the rest being closer to 25, in which case I would feel like that group would be too young for me.
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written April 2026
The average age of the group is 26, but there are 5 people over 30 so this isn't an accurate representation.

- INTRO TravelOperator•Written February 2026

  Traveler•Written February 2026
Thank you for getting back to me. Unfortunately, just knowing majority in their 20's and 30's is still abit too vague for me, as I want to make sure I don't end up travelling with a group of people that are all very much younger than me. This why I asked if it was possible to get the age range from min to max as well as the age average.
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written February 2026
Our trip are geared towards 18-40s, with a maximum age of 49 years old
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written February 2026
As it stands, the 10th April has 12 travellers, with 10 of them aged 27+. The 13th April has 20 travellers, with 7 travellers aged 27+. If you're looking to travel with more people above the age of 27, the 10th April would be a great option to consider, as most travellers are over 27. The 13th April does have more people age 18-early 20's.

A tour that covers the Cebu area (Maolboal canyoning, Boroquay, Sunilon island), Palawan / coron area, or one tour that does both. Budget ideally, doesn't need to be fancy. So dont mind 3 star accommodation. My partner and I will be sharing a room
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written January 2026

Our travel protection from our award-winning partner, XCover, means you and your travel companions can book with peace of mind knowing there’s protection available in case your trip doesn’t go to plan. At checkout you will be able to select between different options in case you or the tour are eligible for insurance. In case no option is available, you are always able to purchase travel insurance outside of TourRadar.
