Could you please confirm the starting time for the tour and provide a quote for one pre-night stay, along with the name of the hotel?

Regarding the June 29 departure date, we currently have only one spot remaining on that tour. As your booking is for two passengers, we are unfortunately unable to provide a quote for that departure. Could you please advise us of your preferred alternative departure date? Once we receive your preferred date, we will be happy to check availability and provide you with the requested details, including the tour start time, pre-night accommodation quote, and hotel information.

Would it work for me to fly to St. John's on Sept 8, then fly from Deer Lake on Sept. 17? What accommodation could I get for the nights before and after the departure?

The Newfoundland Adventure: Westbound tour begins at the "ALT Hotel St. John's" and ends at the "Deer Lake Motel." If you would like to come early or leave late we can assist in booking additional accommodations. Since this tour begins at 10am on Day 1, we do recommend coming early. You don't have to book our hotel's though, if there are other's you'd prefer. You can also just meet the group at 10am at the ALT Hotel. ALT Hotel - $590 CAD per night, Deer Lake Motel - $295 CAD per night

Kindly advise if you have a cancellation for 2 travelers. We would book those spots immediately.

Is the Newfoundland trip in September full?

How would non-drivers get back to St. John's, or is there a flight back to Halifax from St. John's?

If we take this tour, we do not have access to a car and we do not drive. How could we return to St. John's, or can we fly back to Halifax from Deer Lake?

Are we left on our own in Deer Lake?

The trip finishes at the Holiday Inn Express Deer Lake, and you will have to make your own way back to St. John's.

Is emergency support available during the tour?

Support is available via local contacts if issues arise during the tour.

What is the cost for airport transfers?

Transfer service is unavailable, but a taxi will cost approximately CAD 25 to get to the airport.

Are accommodations twin share?

I enjoyed this well-organized tour with key highlights along Newfoundland's Eastern coast and Gros Morne National Park in the West. In early June, we experienced persistent sea fog along the coast. When the sun peaked through one afternoon it was glorious! Highlights for me were seeing puffins in Elliston and experiencing the ecosystem and views of the Skerwink Trail, a challenging hike near Trinity. Sadly, we did not see any icebergs. They were well north of Twillingate. I recommend planning to arrive a day or two before the tour begins, if you're traveling at this time of year due to the dense fog which can delay flights into St. John's.Show more
