13 Days in Canadian Maritimes, incl. Halifax and Prince Edward Island
A 13-day route through Eastern Canada showcases 8 distinctive cities. Marvel at UNESCO sites like Lunenburg and Joggins Fossil Cliffs, savor a Shediac Bay lobster cruise, and take in Prince Edward Island National Park's red cliffs and white beaches.

- Days 1-2
Halifax & Bay of Fundy
Start your trip in Halifax, the walkable capital of Nova Scotia filled with maritime history. Visit the Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk in the evening after 6 PM when crowds thin out and you can watch boats in the harbor. On Day 2, drive to the Bay of Fundy and plan around the tides. One traveler shared: "The Joggins Fossil Cliffs were incredible – bring good walking shoes and arrive early before the summer heat kicks in."

- Days 3-4
Saint John & St. Andrews
Stay in Saint John to explore New Brunswick's southern coast. Visit the Reversing Falls during high tide for the best views. Book whale watching tours in St. Andrews on your first available day since weather might require rescheduling. A visitor suggests: "The morning whale watching tours tend to have calmer waters – take motion sickness pills just in case."

- Days 5-7
Digby & South Shore
Book the morning ferry to Digby ahead of time if traveling in peak season. Visit Annapolis Valley wineries in the morning when crowds are smaller. Most start tastings at 11 AM. Get to Peggy's Cove before 9 AM to avoid tour buses. Plan your Lunenburg Fisheries Museum visit before its 5 PM closing time.

- Days 8-9
Prince Edward Island
Drive across the 8-mile Confederation Bridge to PEI. Bring Canadian cash for the toll. Walk through Charlottetown's historic district and visit Anne of Green Gables sites in mid-afternoon after tour groups leave. According to one traveler: "The North Shore beaches are less crowded in the early evening, and the red cliffs look spectacular at sunset."

- Days 10-11
Cape Breton Island
Take a full day for the Cabot Trail. Start early and drive clockwise for the best ocean views. Bring warm layers since highland temperatures run about 10°F cooler than Baddeck. Set aside 3-4 hours for the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. A visitor advises: "The Trail's lookout points get busy around midday – start your drive by 8 AM for peaceful photo opportunities."

What people love about 2-week Eastern Canada tours
- Atlantic Maritimes
The tour guide Lana was exceptional, so well informed about every site we visited. She was enthusiastic, considerate and made herself aware of each one of us and any needs we might have. The coach driver Kevin was a real gentleman and a very safe and considerate driver. He was always attending to our needs in a friendly manner
- Newfoundland & Labrador 12 Days
Great tour. Met some really nice people.
- Wonders of the Maritimes & Scenic Cape Breton with Ocean Train to Montreal
Everything on the trip was great until we ran into troubles with the train. They held us without canceling from 1pm until the next morning at 6:30am. Very little food was offered, no other transportation was offered, and no refund has been offered by Globus. The flights to Montreal were 906$. We had to still go because our flights back home to BC were booked to leave from Montreal. We were very disappointed. Can someone please contact me. 2505523929
