Can you advise on the best flights to take for Halifax? How do we travel to and from the airport to the hotel at the beginning and end of the holiday?

For this tour, you'll need to book flights into and out of Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ). Trafalgar does not include flights in the tour package, so you can choose the airline that best suits your schedule and budget. Airport transfers are not automatically included; you'll need to arrange your own transport between Halifax airport and the hotel at the start and end of the holiday. On the first day, the welcome desk is scheduled from 15:00-17:00. It's recommended that flights arrive prior to 15:00 to avoid missing the Welcome Dinner, starting at 18:00. For the last day, complimentary group transfer by motorcoach will arrive at Stanfield International Airport at approximately 12:00. Motorcoach will then continue to the post hotel in Halifax.

Could you please confirm whether this tour would be suitable for someone who requires the use of a walker?

Walkers are permitted on tour. We will need the measurements of the walker to ensure there is adequate space on the coach.

Are arrival and departure transfers included in the tour?

Only departure complimentary group transfer will be provided on the last day of the tour. For the arrival, we only have airport transfer at a cost, and a transfer services provider recommendation that we will provide once the guests are confirmed on this tour.

Are your prices tax inclusive? Are taxes included in the price or added on to the price?

In response to your question, yes, taxes are included with our trip rate.

Do we spend a lot of time on the bus driving past sites? How many places do we actually stop and explore? Are there walking tours involved?

On coach (bus) we rarely spend longer than a couple of hours on the coach without a photo stop or visit. Currently, we don't have the information on how many places you will be visiting on this tour as there will be an optional experiences that we will offer you on tour that you can choose to join. What we're sure of this tour will visit 12 cities.

On the other hand, you can try and check at Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) in Halifax if you're able to leave your car for a few days while doing the tour.

  I understand there's seat rotation on the bus/coach. How does this work? Is it a daily rotation? I suffer from motion sickness and cannot sit at the back of the bus.
