  I will be travelling with either a walker or a wheelchair, and was wondering if this is suitable? Should I bring one and not the other?

    You are welcome to bring your preference of a wheelchair or a walker. Once your booking is confirmed we would need to know the dimensions when collapsed. Globus Family of Brands representatives cannot provide any individual or personal assistance for guests with mobility issues. Guests must be accompanied by a travel companion who is able-bodied and willing to provide any assistance the guest may need.

    1. Will there be accessible rooms where we are staying? No stairs to get into the building or into the room. Elevator OK. I don't need extra wide doors into the room or the bathroom, although bathrooms with grabbars are a help.
    
    2. I will bring either a walker or a foldable wheelchair and will let you know the size if we go for this trip. In many places it would help greatly to have a motorized wheelchair, but I'm guessing you can't handle that in vans or coaches, or can you?
    
    3. The trip we're looking at includes a train from Halifax to Montreal. I'm assuming the train is accessible, along with any compartment we'll be staying in, or is that a problem?

    We can request an accessible room for you, however, you will be required to confirm with the hotel staff upon arrival. Once we have you booked, we can add a note on your booking to let the staff know you will be needing an accessible room.
    
    You are able bring your wheelchair or walker. You may not be required to walk up a full flight of stairs. There may be elevators available for use if you have to go up to the higher floors. We can attempt to make arrangements for a motorized scooter, you will only be able to bring a manual wheelchair.
    
    Via rail is wheelchair accessible. They have wheelchair lifts at the stations where train doors are not at platform levels. They can assist with the customer's baggage or mobility aid and provide a wheelchair if needed.

  Is there any hiking on this tour? I am especially interested in hiking in the National Park in Nova Scotia

    The itinerary does not include hiking in the National Park in Nova Scotia. That would be something you would have to arrange independently during free time.

    We are not aware of any issues with flying over the US, however the tour you have asked for is in Canada, and to enter Canada you will need a ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).

This is coming in at $7059pp. For this tour pre accommodation in Halifax is $230pp per night and post accommodation in Montreal is $352pp per night. Hotel names are not available yet.

If an upgrade is available upon check in to your hotels, you can pay for the upgrade directly to the hotel at the time of service. We are unable to guarantee availability. The train also does not have any upgrades available.
