What people love about Pacific Northwest Tours
- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
I just came back from the 8 Day Vancouver Island trip. All in all a wonderful experience, a truly unique and awe inspiring adventure - don't book this if you want the luxury of preening 4 times a day but do go if you want a 5* experience, if you want to see loads of different animals, amazing scenery, feel dwarfed by 250 foot (75 m) trees, pause as a bear strolls in front of the van, paddle to a waterfall in a canoe, jump in to sparkling lakes, watch whales, seals, sea lions in their natural habitat and generally learn more about this fascinating part of the world. Alex's professionalism should be commended, the organisation was faultless and the food was exemplary, most of all he went over and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. I would strongly recommend this tour, especially to those looking for an escape to nature.
- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
I give five stars for every category because I'm not allowed to give more. Alex is an amazing, energetic and passionate guide (and his cooking skills are ninja). He knows exactly what he's doing, and led us to the most amazing, beautiful and peaceful areas we would never have been able to experience on our own. I can't say enough good things about this trip and Alex.
- 7 Day Vancouver Island Camping Adventure
We did the 6 day Vancouver Island tour with Alex. He is a terrific tour guide, taking us on scenic hikes with breathtaking views of remote beaches and mountains. Our campsites were in great locations and Alex cooked awesome meals. His knowledge of western Canada and general outdoor life is amazing. We were 1st time campers and this trip exceeded our expectations. Hoping to do his Rockies tour next year! Highly recommend!

"This tour was great for a solo traveller looking to explore new places as part of a group. I got to go places I never would have known about if I had gone independently and got to meet lots of great people from all over the world. The tour guide was great! Very considerate of everyone in the group and happy to share his knowledge about the areas we visited. He put in a lot of time and effort to ensure the meals were high quality and healthy and encouraged everyone to take part in helping out. It was a great experience and I?m so glad I went.

"The trip was absolutely perfect! Our tour guides Louis and Corinne were kind, funny and just the best people overall. They organised the best trip, allowing us to see so much of the Island and they cooked up gourmet meals that I didn't think would be possible on a camping trip! They accommodated everyone's preferences on activities and took us to some amazing places and I had so much fun with everyone on the trip. I will definitely recommend this Vancouver island tour to all and any other fresh adventures tours because they were so helpful from the point of booking the tour to the end of the tour! Thanks a lot Fresh adventures!

"Great small group tour. There were 13 of us on a very comfortable small bus with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. Our guide, Olly, was truly amazing. Knowledgeable, calm and capable and ever-ready to be of assistance.

Demographics
The 8-day camping tours around Vancouver Island work really well for solo travelers. Our guests often mention making quick friends while tackling the Stawamus Chief trail or paddling kayaks in Cowichan Bay. Everyone shares meals around the campfire and joins group activities like whale watching, but there's also free time to check out Victoria's cafes or walk Tofino's beaches alone. Having a CEO guide handle all the logistics means solo travelers can just focus on enjoying themselves rather than worrying about details.
The Klahoose Adventure in British Columbia is perfect for couples looking for a luxury escape. You get private resort rooms in Desolation Sound where you can kayak in sheltered waters, learn about nature from Indigenous guides and watch for whales right from your deck. We also run a popular three-park tour through North Cascades, Olympic and Mount Rainier National Parks that combines scenic drives with really nice lodges. Couples tell us they love mixing guided activities with romantic downtime - maybe soaking in hidden hot springs or catching the sunset over Tofino's coastline.
Young adults tend to go for our active outdoor tours. The BC ski tours hit epic mountains like Revelstoke, Kicking Horse and Red Mountain where you can tackle challenging runs. After skiing, the groups hang out at local breweries and soak in natural hot springs. In summer, lots choose Vancouver Island tours that mix surfing in Tofino, hiking the Juan de Fuca trail and kayaking trips. Our younger travelers really like the social vibe at beachfront camps and being able to pick how hard they want to push themselves each day.
Our premium Vancouver Island tours work really well for senior travelers with their comfortable hotels and flexible pace. You'll visit Victoria's Inner Harbour, Butchart Gardens and take an easy walk on the Malahat SkyWalk's elevated pathway. Older guests tell us they appreciate having time to explore on their own terms - whether that's taking photos of Duncan's totem poles or watching for whales from Tofino's shore. We pick hotels close to town centers and include gentler walking options through Cathedral Grove's old growth forest or along Victoria's waterfront path.
Vancouver Island offers really nice options for families to explore the Pacific Northwest together. Our 3-day Vancouver-Victoria tour mixes city experiences with nature activities - parents tell us they love how flexible the pace is while their kids get excited spotting whales and seals during boat trips. Walking through Butchart Gardens and along the Wild Pacific Trail, families often see eagles, bears and lots of marine life. The guides are great at adjusting activities based on the children's ages - some days that means learning about sea creatures at the Ucluelet Aquarium, other days it's taking on a more challenging hike through East Sooke Regional Park.
