  Will there be a host to meet us at the airport?

    The tour does not offer any additional services to add for transfers to and from the airport. We can only offer pre accommodation to add to the booking in Florence.

    Within the itinerary it is listed that we will meet with the tour leader in the evening; however, there isnt a time listed or location. Will there be more details to follow upon meeting with the tour leader?

    Upon arrival to your Joining Hotel (note that check-in time will be in the afternoon), look for a note or bulletin board in the reception with a note from your CEO. This note will give the details of your Welcome Meeting on day 1 (usually between 5pm and 7pm), where you will get a chance to meet your CEO and other travellers, as well as learn more about how the tour will run. If you don't see a note, please ask reception for details! If you are arriving later and will miss the Welcome Meeting, your CEO will leave a note at reception for you with any information you may need, and with morning instructions for the next day.

    Regarding your sister's vegan diet, we're absolutely able to accommodate vegan requirements on this tour. We just need to note this at the time of booking, and the CEO will ensure that suitable meal options are arranged for the included meals. Italy is generally very accommodating with plant-based options, so she should have good variety throughout the trip.

    Travellers are required to book in the currency that they are geographically located in. We can only sell tours in the currency of where our traveller's reside. We hope this helps provide some understanding of our business behind the scenes.

  Do we need to pay in advance for any of the extra tours/activities? Also I looked at the travel insurance but It did not say if it was person or for our family. Not sure if you would know

  One of our travelers is going to be 11 years and 9 months the date of the tour. The online registration program will not let us book our trip because of that. It says that we would need to get an exception from you for him to go on the trip.

  Is it correct the tour includes local transfers from Florence airport to the hotel in Tuscany and the same at end of tour with transfer from hotel in Tuscany to Florence airport? We want to spend more time in Florence, probably at the end of tour. How will this work on day 7 if we aren't going to the airport? Will same local transfer drop us off at hotel in Florence instead? Or do we find other option to get from Tuscany hotel to Florence hotel for 2 extra nights extension, and then request the local transfer to take us from hotel to airport? Please provide best solution for our plans. If there are added costs involved, would appreciate approx cost info.

    No, the tour ends at Florence Train Station - Santa Maria, so we don't return to a hotel. We can give you name of an accomodation and you can book this direct however.

  Debating between 5/7/25 or 5/18/25 departures. Any difference or advantage of leaving Wednesday vs Sunday? Can we extend trip in Florence for a couple of days? How rigorous are the hikes in Cinque Terre and Chianti? Are we talking serious hiking or long tough or climbing hikes or such that's suitable for most people who are able to walk fine?

    There isn't much difference between departures, both of them are available! We would suggest checking flight pricing from your home city, sometimes, the price and the options are different on the weekend versus on a weekday. The tour ends upon arrival at the train station in Florence. Once you confirm the trip, If you would like to book extra nights at the hotel, we can request them for you! This tour has a physical rating of 3 out of 5, which is average. Included activities generally be a few hours and fairly easy for most fitness levels. Travellers who are in average shape should be able to manage just fine. The hikes on this trip are generally 3-4 hours, about 5-7Km.
