  Overall, it was a fantastic experience. There were a couple of small hiccups, nothing is perfect, but our guide and our driver did a fantastic job of making the experience fun and meaningful. The only thing I would flag is that the group size is a bit large - we were 46 - which can sometimes make for slower travel. Otherwise, absolutely wonderful!Show more

  Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry that you were not well informed at the time of the booking regarding the group size and the activity level for this trip. We have designed our Trafalgar tours to accommodate up to fifty-two guests on our luxury coaches, although we average forty to forty-five guests. If a less active itinerary and smaller groups are a must, our sister company, Classic Insight Vacations, have small group departures that have a maximum of just twenty-four. Nevertheless, we hope you made some new friendships and unforgettable memories during your time away with us.

  Trip was very good, managed to see all of the top tourist attractions in 8 days. Trafalger tour guide was terrific. Only criticisms were the Tower Hotel room desperately needed an update and the London traffic was horrendous causing us to spend needless hours on the tour bus in and out of London.Show more

  Great way to see it all in one week. A little fast paced for some of the elders in our group. Hotel location was fabulous and hotel food was great, but the hotel is in desperate need of updating and maintenance. Overall a very good tour.Show more

  We hope you had the chance to immerse yourself in the local culture during your trip to the United Kingdom and France and enjoyed the warmth and hospitality of the locals, the delicious cuisine and both countries' rich history that are all unique and enriching aspects of any visit to these beautiful countries. Exploring these two beautiful countries in a condensed amount of time can be quite an adventure, and we strive to include the perfect amount of time at each location for in-depth discovery, and there are certain towns where we wish to stay longer. We have shared your feedback with our Operations team as we constantly strive to see where our itineraries can be improved. That said, we still hope that you have taken lots of lasting highlights during your time away with us.

  This was my first tour, and I enjoyed every second of it. The itinerary was excellent, saw everything that I had hoped to see, and there was plenty of free time to explore on my own. It was wonderful to have the Oyster card [for bus and tube]. The hotel was very nice, newly renovated, and located right across from Hyde Park, wonderful for walks in the early morning or evening. Our tour director, Ellie, was extremely organized, and was excellent at providing background and history as we drove through the city, and at the venues. She was also very helpful in providing ideas for places to explore on our free time, and would help with any questions we had. If people needed directions for places they wanted to see on their own, she would print them out. The tour guides [specialists] at some of the venues were also excellent, as was our bus driver, Dave. I left feeling like I had really done more than I would have thought possible in 8 days! London is a lovely city, tourist-friendly, and rich in culture and history. I would love to go again!Show more

  LONDON EXCURSION: definitely a 5 star tour! Everything worked seamlessly. Our guide, Tony Perry, was friendly and accommodating. Our hotel was on the corner of Hyde Park, the tube station, and great shopping. We were busy every day, and had plenty of time for our own individual excursions of shopping,restaurants, museums,religious worship,and fine theater. All of the sights were interesting and varied,and we had no need to drive. Unqualified recommendation!Show more
