- Day 1
Cape Town
You'll touch down in Cape Town and head to your accommodation near the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for three nights. The location puts you right in the middle of things, with Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean framing the city. Settle in and take some time to get oriented, maybe walk around the waterfront area this evening if you're not too tired from traveling.

Cape Town
Start the day by taking the rotating gondola up Table Mountain for views across Cape Town and the ocean from 360 degrees. Once you're at the summit, you can catch your breath in the mountain air and take in the World Heritage site. Afterward, pick one of several options: wine tasting in the Cape Winelands, a Harley ride along the coast, a visit to Langa Township, or checking out the multicultural food scene in Bo-Kaap. It's your choice how to spend the rest of the day.

Cape Town
Head along the Atlantic coast toward Cape Point in Table Mountain National Park. You'll see the historic Cape of Good Hope, a landmark with real maritime significance, and then stop at Boulders Beach where African penguins hang out in a natural colony. The coastal drive is worth it on its own, and seeing the penguins up close adds something special to the day.

Cape Town to Hoedspruit
Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to your lodge on the edge of Kruger National Park for three nights. This afternoon, you'll go out on your first safari in a specially adapted Land Rover with experienced guides. You'll start looking for the Big Five as the day winds down, and back at the lodge, have drinks to watch the African sun set. It's a tradition here called Scenic Sundowners.

Hoedspruit
Spend the entire day doing game drives through Thornybush in specially adapted Land Rovers, with expert rangers helping you track the Big Five. As evening comes around, a bush dinner awaits under the stars with wildlife sounds all around you.

Hoedspruit

Spend the rest of the day relaxing and getting to know your surroundings. Maybe use the hotel's facilities or just take some time to reflect on what you've experienced so far.

Johannesburg
Get out and experience Jo'burg's modern energy and transformation from its mining past. Walk through Soweto with guides, visiting Nelson Mandela's former house and the streets he traveled. Tour the Apartheid Museum to understand the country's complex 20th century history. Later, take some time at the Johannesburg Botanical Garden or around Emmarentia Dam for quieter moments in the city.

Johannesburg to Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls

Samburu
Have breakfast and then start a morning game drive through Samburu's dry-country landscape.
