      I noticed you have another 25-day tour in reverse, ie starting at Pretoria and ending at Cape Town. May I know what's the difference in term of points of interest and accommodation?

      The two tours are almost identical except for a visit to the Cape Town 'townships' which we do on the first day of the northbound tour (start Cape Town/ end Pretoria) but not on the final day of southbound trip. The reason is purely operational.. the Township tour works better in the morning than in the afternoon, which it would be if we did it on the final day of the tour. On a more 'human' level we often find that on the last day of the tour, especially for a tour ending in Cape Town that many clients are focused on getting to the hotel and spending time looking around Africa's most beautiful city for themselves. The difference in price is shows in the slightly lower Adventure Pass on the southbound.

      Tour Price includes Adventure Pass. Flights - our tour prices do not included any flights. Visas (depend on nationality but most people require a visa for Zimbabwe and for Namibia); Health precautions - malaria tablets, any inoculations you may wish to have; Incidental spending.. always difficult to estimate because it depends on your own spending habits (drinks, cigarettes, souvenirs..) but I think somewhere between $10- $20 per day.. is average.

      Accommodation on tour: (whether accommodated or camping) is on a twin share basis with another passenger of the same sex. If we happen to have an odd number of passengers then someone will have a room/ tent of his/her own. This is arranged on the day between group members. Accommodated and Camping clients travel together , do all excursion, take meals together but separate at night when accommodated clients sleep in their room, camping clients sleep in the tents. The standard of rooms is basic tourist class; rooms are usually on the same property as camp.

This is separate and in addition to the Tour Price, and covers selected park entries, activities and excursions along the way where payment goes directly to the supplier to ensure local suppliers benefit directly from the income.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 61 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
