Amsterdam to Utrecht
Board a glass-top boat and glide through Amsterdam's waterways with a local guide, then you'll have free time to yourself. Later, you'll drive to Utrecht to get back to your vessel for the Gala Welcome Dinner tonight.

Cologne
Your ship docks in Cologne where you can see the Kölner Dom cathedral, which took over six centuries to finish. You'll then drive to Brühl for a tour of the World Heritage-listed Augustusburg Palace and its rococo architecture and gardens. The afternoon is yours to explore Cologne's city center.

Rüdesheim
Today features one of the trip's highlights as you cruise through the Rhine Gorge, which has some of the river's best scenery. The ship stops in Rüdesheim where the Winzerexpress mini train takes you through town to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, home to one of Germany's top collections.

Miltenberg
You'll explore Miltenberg, a town with well-preserved half-timbered buildings from the 15th to 18th centuries. A culinary walking tour gives you a taste of local life, with stops at a butcher and baker, then finishing at a local distillery for tasting.

Würzburg

Bamberg
This morning you'll cruise the final stretch of the Main River before arriving at Bamberg. You'll join a guided tour of the Old Town Hall and Bamberg Cathedral, then have time to explore on your own. Later, your ship enters the Main-Danube Canal.

Nuremberg
You'll walk through Nuremberg's cobblestone streets, checking out hidden shops and artisan stores in this historically significant city. Later, you'll cruise through the Main-Danube Canal, crossing Europe's Continental Divide via 16 stair-step locks.

Regensburg
Having reached the Danube overnight, you arrive in Regensburg with your ship docked in the town center. You'll join a guided walking tour to see the main sights. There's an optional trip to see the Kuchlbauer Tower at Kuchlbauer's World of Beer in Abensberg. Tonight features an authentic Bavarian experience on board with local beer, snacks, and traditional folk music and dance.

Passau
As you have breakfast, you'll arrive in Passau, where three rivers meet. You can choose optional tours to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic, Salzburg (including the church from 'The Sound of Music'), or stay on board for a relaxing sailing day to Linz. A Passau culinary tour sampling local food is also available.

Melk to Dürnstein
You'll cruise into Austria and dock in Melk for a tour of Melk Abbey, a Benedictine monastery on a rocky outcrop since 1089 with great Danube views. Then you'll sail through the Wachau Valley to Dürnstein, a town with castle ruins from the 12th century. The afternoon is free to walk the cobbled streets and check out town houses and taverns. You can optionally taste local wines at Dürnstein Abbey.

Prague
Your Prague exploration starts at Strahov Monastery for panoramic views, then you'll cross Charles Bridge and reach Old Market Square. You'll see the Astronomical Clock (bring your camera), then explore at your own pace. An optional traditional Czech folklore dinner and show is available tonight.

Now that you're familiar with Prague's layout, the day is yours to explore however you'd like. The Jewish Quarter offers plenty of history, or you can check out other areas of the city. There's an optional guided tour of Prague Castle, the world's largest castle complex dating to the 9th century, which includes St. Vitus Cathedral.
