  Overall I found this to be a well organised tour, sadly it turned out not to be with a Group. However I was put with other people on occasion so felt this was good. Everything was well organised, from being picked up at the airport, to getting picked up each day to go on the daily trips. I was kept informed about the next day`s activities. Transport was good, the drivers were professional, and I felt safe at all times. Flights were well organised, and I was checked in and given boarding passes as required. All the guides were very knowledgeable, they kept me informed, and spoke english very well. Only on one occasion did I feel a little let down, when I was rushed to finish my lunch. The tour itself was wonderful, so many highlights, Halong Bay cruise was excellent. The hotels were not fantastic to be honest, but bearable. Some well worn, and a little uncomfortable with poor AC. There is the option to pay more for better hotels of course. It would of been useful to have the option to fly from Phnom Penh to Siem reap, as the 6 hour bus trip takes its toll. Overall I would recommend the tour, there is a lot of travelling of course, and some days are taken up with mostly travel, but the distances make this a must. The sights you see, and the things you experience make it all worthwhile.Show more

  Overall, the experience was good to very good! The trip was very intense in a positive sense, everything was organised very well and we could see and experience a lot! A few recommendations to consider: - let people know when Halong Bay is expected to be very crowded/in the high season (eg between Dec and Jan) and suggest alternative, for example other trips outside Hanoi or dry Halong bay if it makes sense. The boat we stayed on was very nice but for me, the overall Halong experience seemed tourism out of control! - transfer from Halong Bay/Haipong to Hanoi airport for consecutive flight should be done directly without returning to Hanoi hotels, this could help to avoid several hours of city traffic ! - during the intense day of Hue visit we had a couple with us who had to catch a flight in the afternoon which already put some time pressure on the visit/group. Despite this, the guide started the day with a visit to the Hue market only to bring us to a seller/friend hoping to sell us some hats (30 min in total which we could have spent elsewhere) - I had upgraded to 4 star hotels for 1000 Euros which were very nice in most cases; I think the room categories were mostly on the lower end so I personally added and paid upgrades in two hotels (Hanoi for 20 USD per night to avoid noise in lowest floor and in Phnom Phen for 10 USD per night to avoid a room with close view to a brick wall) If at least the first/Hanoi hotel could be included in the 1000 Euros with a better category because people are very tired after arrival this would offer a much better start/overall positive impression of the servicesShow more

However, for group tours, shared transfers are part of the package to help keep costs affordable. Customers wishing to upgrade to a private transfer can request this service for an additional cost. Thank you for your understanding. ----3----Hue Day Planning: We understand your concerns about time allocation during the Hue visit.   The overall experience was awesome, it was a great tour and I saw everything I wanted to see. - the tour guides were all great and had a good knowledge of the places we visited. - if there was any issue Danny sorted it quickly and was always available on what's app. Couple of small suggestions for improvement. - the final confirmed itinerary & hotels etc was not sent until after we had left new zealand, if this could be done at least a week prior to departure that would be good. In Phnom penh add S21/ killing fields to the itinerary, everyone wanted to see this. I paid for a separate trip here. I can highly reccomend legend travel and would happily travel with them again.Show more

Our group consisted of 8 members from Belgium, and we would like to express our gratitude to Legend Travel Group for their exceptional service, outstanding organization, and interesting explanations delivered in a friendly manner. The experience of cruising along the Mekong Delta was the highlight of our trip. We opted for the 4-star hotel option, which was fantastic. We traveled by planes, trains, automobiles, taxis, sleeper buses, and hiked through cities, mountains, nature, beaches, and cultural sites. The itinerary was expertly planned, allowing us to enjoy the trip without feeling tied to a large group. The program was amazing, and Vietnam is a fantastic country to explore.
