Arrival in Kenya
You'll arrive at your hotel in Kenya with mid-afternoon check-in available. Get settled into your room and take some time to rest before your safari adventure begins tomorrow.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
A flight takes you to Maasai Mara National Reserve. After lunch, you head out on your first game drive this afternoon to search for the Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo. Your guide will help you spot these iconic animals across the reserve.

Maasai Mara National Reserve
Today you'll do morning and afternoon game drives throughout the Mara, which forms part of the Serengeti ecosystem. Your expert driver and guide will help you track predators and other wildlife. In between drives, you can relax by the pool or take a safari siesta back at the lodge.

- Day 4
Amboseli National Park
A short flight brings you back to Nairobi, then on to Amboseli National Park. You'll do a game drive upon arrival and see Mount Kilimanjaro (19,341 feet/5,895 meters) in the distance. You'll reach your lodge in time to freshen up before dinner.

Amboseli National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives give you chances to see elephants up close, along with Cape buffalo, zebra, and wild dogs. Between drives, you can read on your private patio or swim in the pool at your lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park
You'll cross into Tanzania at the Namanga border this morning. After lunch in Arusha, you head to Lake Manyara National Park area to settle in for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater
A morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park lets you see baboons, giraffe, hippo, and other wildlife. This park has groundwater forests and an alkaline lake. Later you drive to your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater slopes. There's an optional visit to a local primary school available if you're interested.

- Day 8
Ngorongoro Crater
You'll spend the full day doing a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a massive caldera over 2,000 feet deep. Game viewing here is exceptional since animals stay year-round. You can see lions, elephants, flamingos, and with luck, black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch happens in the crater itself.

Serengeti National Park
A drive takes you to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After lunch, you head out on your afternoon game drive. The park is known for the annual Great Migration and year-round game viewing opportunities.

Serengeti National Park
Morning and afternoon game drives take you across roughly 5,700 square miles of the endless plains. You'll search for leopard, rhino, cheetah, giraffe, gazelle, and eland with your guide. Back at the lodge, you can swim or rest between drives.

Stone Town, Zanzibar
One final game drive happens this morning before you fly to Stone Town via Arusha. You'll transfer to your oceanfront resort for a 3-night stay, and your room offers views of the Indian Ocean.

- Day 12
Stone Town
You'll take a guided walking tour of Stone Town to see the Old Fort, National Palace, and House of Wonders. After lunch at a local restaurant, you visit a spice plantation to learn about Zanzibar's spice heritage and smell and taste fresh spices. Later you return to your resort for dinner.

This full day is yours to relax at the resort. Explore the 30 acres of tropical gardens, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, dine at any of the on-site restaurants, or try included watersports like paddleboarding and kayaking. Diving and snorkeling can be arranged for an extra fee.

Dar es Salaam Departure
You'll transfer back to Stone Town for a flight to Dar es Salaam. A day room is reserved at the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel for your convenience. Plan your homebound flight for after 4 pm.
