Our scheduled Discover Safari small group tour runs on specific dates only, with our next available departure during your travel period being the 3 August 2026 - 7 August 2026. And this scheduled tour operates as a 5 Day / 4 Night tour. However, we are able to assist and offer you a bespoke private tour option within your requested dates of 31 July 2026 - 6 August 2026. Which will operate as a 7 Day / 6 Night private tour. Please do know that all our private tour options require a minimum of 2x travellers to operate the tour or the equivalent cost thereof.

I'd like to know when the flights from Johannesburg are leaving and arriving so it's not at the same time as my other flights.

Regarding the departing flight, we either depart on the 11:45am or 13:00pm departure out of Johannesburg for Victoria Falls. Majority of the time it would be the 13:00pm departure. The return flight from Victoria Falls to Johannesburg after the tour, departs at 15:00pm. Kindly know that there are no early or morning flights out of Victoria Falls back to Johannesburg on any day, all departures depart midafternoon to late afternoon.

Is it possible to fly from CT on the 24th to Vic falls to join the tour. I noticed Airlink have direct flights from CT to VF's leaving CT at 9:45 arriving in VF just after midday.

If you do opt to fly directly from Cape Town to Victoria Falls at your own cost, you would definitely still be able to join the tour in Victoria Falls, your flight to Johannesburg from Victoria Falls after the tour would still be included in the tour package.

Can you arrange for a return flight to Johannesburg and if so please advise the cost?

Where to start… this is a ‘must see and do experience.’ Honey Badger is a smaller bespoke company that plans your experience and proudly uses locals for knowledge, seamless border transfers and guidance. We participated in the 4day/4night Chobe and Victoria Falls experience. We were met at the JNB airport checkin and we were personally escorted to Victoria Falls on Safari where we also met a local driver. We then travelled to Botswana (Chobe park) where we stayed in a local lodge. The lodge was perfect, clean, safe and awesome for the experience - Chobe was simply amazing… We were very lucky on our morning safari to come across a pride of nine loins herding a hundred water buffalo in a round circle. To watch this so close and then to see three bulls charge the loins and make them retreat so the herd safely cross the water ways… then every animal you could imagine… The Chobe delta water cruise saw us come within a couple of metres of large crocodiles, hippo’s and elephants - another incredible experience, but from the water. Everything was planned so well. Day three had us head back to Zimbabwe and spend the day viewing the falls. The accommodation was excellent, modern and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The final day had us explore the town and choose any of the optional activities such as bungee jumping, river speed boat (highly recommended - but you get very ‘wet’), white water rafting, zip lining etc… Due to holiday time limits, we elected to fly directly from Vic Falls to Cape Town.. It is very hard to comfortably choose tours online and you never really know what you are getting? We were so lucky to have Jason (Director), who’s passion, local knowledge (of everything) was something I had not experienced before! We felt completely safe and had a bucket list experience… I totally recommend this tour operator and this particular tour in every way possible - you will not be disappointed and you will have the experience of a life time! We advise against booking your return flight back home to Sydney on the same day that you return to Johannesburg from Victoria Falls. It is recommended to overnight in Johannesburg in order to make provision for any flight or border delays.

  Is it possible for us to cut our tour short by one day, that is fly out in the evening of the 4th September - we realise we will miss the last day of the tour. We can make our own way to the airport and if agreeable, please advise any additional fees payable.

However, the return flight price for Thursday the 4th September is substantially higher compared to Friday and would cost an additional ZAR R2410 per person.
