- Day 1
Zanzibar
You'll arrive at Zanzibar Airport and head to your hotel to get settled in. After checking in, a guide takes you through Stone Town on foot, hitting the main spots like the Central Fresh Market where locals shop, the Former Slave Market with its difficult history, the Old Fort with views over the area, the House of Wonders with its intricate carved doors, and the Sultan Palace Museum. It's a lot of history packed into one afternoon, so you'll want to wear comfortable shoes.

Zanzibar to Serengeti
Early morning means catching a charter flight to Serengeti, landing at Seronera Airstrip around mid-morning. Your safari guide briefs you on what to expect, then you're off in a game vehicle through Central Serengeti looking for big cats and other wildlife. Around midday you'll stop for lunch at a picnic spot, and after eating you continue watching for animals as the light gets long. By evening you head back to camp.

- Day 3
Serengeti
This morning starts before dawn at 6:00 AM when you head out for a sunrise game drive. That's when wildlife is most active, and you'll have good chances of seeing the Big Five (rhino, leopard, elephant, lion, buffalo) along with wildebeest, cheetahs, giraffes, wild dogs, and tons of bird species. Lunch happens around 1:00 PM back at the camp or a designated spot, then you're back in the vehicle for more viewing on the drive back as afternoon fades.

- Day 4
Serengeti to Zanzibar
Pack everything after breakfast, then around 8:30 AM you board a safari jeep for the drive to Seronera Airstrip to catch your 11:00 AM flight back to Zanzibar. You'll land in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel. If you're not too tired from travel, there's an optional city tour available, but most people opt to rest instead.
