Hi Anne, thanks for your review of your tour with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed it. Thanks for your feedback, something we are considering for the future. For anyone reading the reviews, currently we include a trip out on Ningaloo reef from coral bay, with snorkel opportunities, and it has a glass bottom for viewing for those who do not want to get in the water. For those who want more time out on the reef, we encourage to extend their trip by a few nights in Exmouth afterwards so that they can do extra days out on the reef. Thanks again Anne, a pleasure to have you on board and hope you join us on another tours in the future. Have a great week, Stu and Team Via Travel Australia

Hi Kenneth! Thanks for your review and comments about your west coast Australia tour, your awesome guide Jason! Fantastic to hear that you loved the itinerary and inclusions, plus the fact that we show our guests the best local cafes and coffee, in locations where the locals go. Thanks also for the comment on the location of the last hotel in Exmouth. To make sure the tour cost is reasonably priced, we use a great hotel in close walking distance to town cafes, bars and shops. But we also understand some people like yourself, would prefer to pay extra to stay on the beach, and we will review this with our team. Thanks again for your review and we hope to have you on board another trip in the future! Stu & Team Via Travel Australia

They could travel back on the bus with us, but we recommend booking a flight from Exmouth - which is faster and allows more time for sightseeing in Exmouth. Yes, if they are interested in a few local day tours, there are some great walking adventures, boat trips, scuba or snorkel excursions.

    Asked on June 27th, 2025

Can you please confirm whether the minibus will have air-conditioning and whether it will have a toilet. Assuming no toilet, how long does the minibus travel without "comfort breaks". Also, what is the standard of the hotels we would be staying in?

    Accommodation
    Transport
    • Via Travel AustraliaOperatorWritten June 2025

The minivan does have AC but doesn't have a toilet. We stop regularly to stretch legs, use toilets, eat or sightsee, we would usually drive no more than two hours at a time. The guide let you know the estimated time between bio breaks and if you need to stop in between passengers can let the guide know. The hotels range between 3-4 star.

I had a response from another company (Autopia??) earlier saying that there were some private rooms on the tour but only shared bathrooms. I am confused because that wouldn't usually qualify as 3 or 4 star accommodation. Have I got confused between 2 different WA tours?

Yes. Autopia is a different company. All our hotels are private rooms with ensuite.

    Transport
    • Via Travel AustraliaOperatorWritten February 2025

Guests need to be reasonably mobile to be involved and enjoy all activities. The walks aren't terrible long but they can be on rocky or sandy surfaces and involve stairs or up and down hills. We travel in a minibus, 16 or 24 seater depending on the group size and passengers are responsible for getting their luggage to and from the bus, of course the guide can assist when available.
