You'll land at El Calafate Airport and meet your tour leader for the transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is yours to unwind or wander around the area if you feel like it. Before dinner, your tour leader will go over what's coming up in the days ahead.

- Day 2
El Calafate to El Chaltén
Start early and drive 3 hours to El Chaltén along Route 40 through desert landscape. Once there, you'll connect with your mountain guide and head out on a half-day hike to Laguna Capri. The first hour climbs steeply to a viewpoint over Rio de las Vueltas valley, then the trail mellows through Ñire and Lenga forest. Stop for lunch at Capri Lagoon with views of Cerro Fitz Roy, then head back to town for a cold beer.

- Day 3
El Chaltén
This is a full-day hike to Laguna Torre, one of the tougher classic routes in the area. You'll start with a steep 30-minute push to Cascada Margarita viewpoint for your first proper look at the peaks. From there the trail gradually rises to the main Cerro Torre viewpoint, then cuts through Fitz Roy River forest and crosses large moraines to reach Laguna Torre. Lunch happens here with Cerro Torre in full view. The return follows the same trail with some variations along the moraine ridge.

El Chaltén to El Calafate
Take things slowly in El Chaltén this morning. The area has plenty of marked trails at different difficulty levels if you want to explore on your own schedule. Later in the day, you'll transfer back to your hotel in El Calafate for the evening.

- Day 5
El Calafate
A transfer picks you up and takes you to Los Glaciares National Park to see Perito Moreno Glacier. Your guide walks you through the different walkway circuits in front of the ice walls, then you have free time to check things out on your own. After that, you'll board the Moreno Spirit boat and navigate through the Iceberg Channel along the glacier's north wall, watching massive ice blocks break off with booming sounds. Transfer back to your hotel when finished.

El Calafate to Puerto Natales
You'll cross the border into Chile today, heading to Puerto Natales. Once you arrive, your local guide shows you around town, walking through the remodeled waterfront, the main square, church, and the Historical Museum. You'll also visit the artisan fishermen's dock and learn the town's history from its discovery in 1557 through its official founding in 1911. Transfer back to your hotel afterward.

Landmarks Señoret Channel Torres del Paine National Park - Day 7
Puerto Natales
Spend the day in Torres del Paine National Park starting at Grey Lake with a pleasant hike along the shore if conditions allow. Continue to Salto Grande where waterfalls lead you to Los Cuernos viewpoint for the best overall views of the park. You'll also see Paine waterfall where glacial meltwater pours through the Paine River. Various scenic stops line the route as you make your way back to Puerto Natales.

This day is free to explore Puerto Natales however you'd like. Walk the shores of Last Hope Sound, bike around town, or just relax. If you want something organized, there's an optional full-day trip sailing the fjords to Bernardo O'Higgins National Park.

You'll transfer back to El Calafate, leaving Puerto Natales and Chile behind. The drive gives you time to relax and take in the scenery from your window. A homemade Patagonian dinner waits for you back at your hotel tonight.
