10-Day Latin America Tour Packages
Ready for Latin America highlights hitting multiple countries? You're probably covering 2-3 countries max—could be Peru, Ecuador, maybe Chile or Argentina. You could even consider a Central America combination, like Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, hitting Mayan sites and beaches. Concentrated trips mean you're seeing major highlights without deep cultural immersion. It’s what travel is about.

10 Days in South America, incl. Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro
Five cities across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil create an unforgettable 10-day adventure. Buenos Aires' Cafe Tortoni, UNESCO-listed Colonia, traditional Uruguayan estancia, Iguazu Falls, and Rio's Maracana Stadium feature prominently. Includes 15 meals, domestic flight, and accommodation with one overnight bus journey.

- Days 1-2
Buenos Aires & Colonia del Sacramento
Start exploring Buenos Aires' historic Microcentro after 1 PM to skip the morning business crowds. Take a 1.5-hour ferry to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. A recent visitor shares: "The cobblestone streets of Colonia's historic quarter are best explored in late afternoon when the tourist crowds thin out and the golden light makes for amazing photos."

- Days 3-5
Uruguayan Estancia Experience
Plan for a 9-hour travel day from Colonia to the ranch with multiple bus connections. Bring snacks since food stops are limited. Life at the estancia is simple but authentic. You can join the 6 AM ranch work if you want the full experience. Pack sturdy boots for horseback riding and farm activities. Rooms are shared with basic facilities.

- Days 6-8
Iguazu Falls
Take an overnight bus to Puerto Iguazu (12 hours). The bus has reclining seats and bathrooms but bring water and something to keep you entertained. Spend two full days at the falls. Visit the Brazilian side first for sweeping views then explore the Argentine walkways the next day. One visitor notes: "The Devil's Throat walkway gets very busy by 10 AM - go first thing in the morning and bring a waterproof phone case, you'll get soaked!"

- Days 9-10
Rio de Janeiro
Fly to Rio and spend your final days in this amazing city. Stay in Copacabana for easy beach access and good transport options. Visit Christ the Redeemer early - take the first cable car at 8 AM to avoid long lines. A helpful tip from a traveler: "Take the local bus 583 from Copacabana to the Corcovado train station - it's much cheaper than taxis and runs every 15 minutes."

10 Days Caribbean Island-Hopping, incl. St. Martin and Barbados
A luxurious 10-day sailing visits 9 ports across 7 Caribbean countries, costing approx. $900 per day. Gustavia's French charm, Basseterre's colonial heritage, and Mayreau's pristine beaches await. Includes 26 meals, luxury yacht accommodation, and expert-guided shore excursions.

- Day 1
Marigot, St. Martin
- Day 2
Gustavia, St. Barthélemy
A quick sail brings you to stylish St. Barts. Start at Shell Beach early before the crowds arrive at 11 AM. The walk to Colombier Beach from the harbor takes about 30 minutes on rough terrain so bring good shoes and water. Book lunch spots in advance since most restaurants fill up fast in peak season.

- Day 3
Basseterre, St. Kitts
- Day 4
Falmouth Harbour, Antigua
- Day 5
Îles des Saintes, Guadeloupe
- Day 6
Saint-Pierre, Martinique
- Day 7
Soufrière, St. Lucia
The Pitons create a spectacular harbor setting. Take a morning boat tour for the best views. Visit the sulfur springs later in the day when it's less busy. A recent visitor shared: "The mud baths at the sulfur springs left my skin amazing, but bring dark swimwear - the sulfur can stain light colors."
- Days 8-9
Mayreau & Tobago Cays, St. Vincent & Grenadines
These spots offer excellent snorkeling. Visit Tobago Cays Marine Park in the morning when waters are calm to see sea turtles. Try the beach BBQ on Petit Rameau. Salt Whistle Bay stays quiet if you arrive before other boats at 10 AM.
- Day 10
Bridgetown, Barbados
Book flights after 11 AM to have enough time getting off the boat. If your schedule allows, take a morning tour of the Mount Gay Rum distillery before heading to the airport.
10 Day Argentina & Bolivia Itinerary, incl. Salta and La Paz
Six cities showcase Latin America's most diverse landscapes over 10 days. Salta's wine region leads through Chile's Atacama Desert to Bolivia's salt flats. Includes 9 nights in 3-4 star hotels, 8 breakfasts, and highlights like Moon Valley, Laguna Colorada, and La Paz's colonial streets.

- Days 1-2
Salta & Cafayate, Argentina
Start in Salta at 3,780 feet elevation to get used to the altitude before going higher. Take the scenic Route 68 through Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate on day 2 (3-hour drive). Visit wineries before 2 PM when they offer their best Torrontés wine tastings. Pack a light jacket since mornings in the valley can be cool despite warm days.

- Days 3-4
San Pedro de Atacama, Chile
Take the morning bus from Salta to San Pedro (8 hours with border crossing). The altitude increases to 7,900 feet so take your first afternoon slow. Visit Moon Valley in late afternoon when the sun creates beautiful shadows across the salt caves and rocks. A recent visitor noted: "The Salt Caves were incredible, but bring proper hiking shoes - the terrain is quite uneven and slippery."

- Days 5-7
Uyuni Salt Flats, Bolivia
Leave San Pedro at 7 AM for the Bolivian border. You'll reach over 14,000 feet so pack coca tea and drink lots of water. Spend two days exploring colorful lagoons and lakes filled with flamingos. Visit the salt flats on day 7, ideally at sunrise if weather is good. Bring warm clothes since nights can drop below freezing. The overnight bus to La Paz leaves around 8 PM (10-12 hours).

- Days 8-10
La Paz, Bolivia
La Paz sits at 11,975 feet so take it slow. Use day 8 to rest. Start your city tour at the Witches' Market in early morning when vendors set up. Take the cable car for city views during mid-morning before crowds arrive. When visiting Moon Valley outside the city wear good shoes since the clay formations get slippery.

What people love about 10-day Latin America tours
- The End of the World + El Chalten w/Bus (10 Days)
Good itinerary, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We saw a lot of patagonia. We booked the private room in a hostel option, and all three were great. Hi travel argintina (tour operator) were always responsive, and helped us with questions I had. My only suggestion would be to spend an extra night in el chalten, as 2 days was quite rushed to do all the hikes. Would recommend this tour :)
- Peru Express - 10 Days (Lima - Cusco - Machu Picchu & Puno) With Domestic Flights
Great tour overall, saw everything as promised.
- Brazil and Argentina with Iguazu Falls 4 Star
