    Your private driver picks you up and takes you to the five-star Mena House Hotel in Cairo. Once you're settled in, there's time to relax before toasting to the beginning of your Egypt tour.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    An Egyptologist joins you to walk through ancient Egypt's most iconic sites. You'll see the Pyramid of King Zoser at Saqqara, view the colossal statue of Ramses II, and check out the great Alabaster Sphinx at Giza.

    Cairo to Luxor

    Start at Karnak where you'll walk down the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes and see the Hypostyle Hall's towering columns. After that, you board the River Tosca luxury cruise ship to begin your Nile River journey.

    West Bank - Valley of the Kings

    Head to the West Bank to see the Colossi of Memnon and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Your Egyptologist takes you through the Valley of the Kings, and then you visit a local family home to watch traditional sun bread being made before enjoying it with Egyptian tea. Tonight you'll put on a galabeya for an evening of dancing and games on the river.

    You explore the double temple of Kom Ombo with its mummified crocodiles. Choose between sailing on a private felucca around Kitchener's Island or browsing Aswan Market. There's a chance to meet local women entrepreneurs at the women's co-op, then afternoon tea on the Old Cataract Hotel terrace overlooking the Nile. The day ends with a Nubian performance.

    See the engineering of the Aswan High Dam and walk through the ancient Granite Quarries. A motorboat takes you across the Nile to the well-preserved Philae temple complex. Later you'll have Egyptian classics for dinner, followed by a sound and light show at Philae Temple.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
