  They are Canadian passport holders and we know they need a permit/Visa. I want to confirm that you will make arrangements for the Tibet Permit/VISA. They are in the process of getting new passports and won't have them until the beginning of September, is this enough time to secure the required Permit/VISA?

    In your tour it says DAY 11- If anyone in the group wants to head to Kathmandu instead, they'll get dropped at the Gyirong border with a chance to explore Gyirong Valley, known for its Himalayan setting. Is there a discount if they end the tour here? How do they get from Gyirong to Katmandu?

    We'll arrange the Tibet permit for them. I'm afraid there won't be enough time to obtain a Tibet permit if they join a tour on 19 September. The permit application normally takes 25 working days.

All vehicles need to return to Lhasa; there is a vehicle return fee. From Gyirong to Kathmandu, we can help travelers arrange a transfer by jeep, which costs USD80 per person.

  How much is the single supplement? I expect to travel in late June, on the trip starting June 29. Also, is it possible to travel by car on Days 8, 9 and 10? If I cannot do the treks.

    If you don't want to do the trek, you can stay at Darchen. However, it will has a price difference between the hotel and the guesthouse during the trek.

    Regarding the Chinese visa, you need to apply for it at the Chinese Embassy on your own. I suggest you consult the Embassy in Sweden. If your visa application requires an invitation letter and a tour itinerary, we can offer them if you book the tour with us.
    From Stockholm to Lhasa, you can fly to mainland China, such as Beijing and Chengdu, then fly or take a train to Lhasa.
    For the 15-day Mt.everest & Mt Kailash Kora Pilgrimage Group Tour, we have a departure date of June 23, which needs further confirmation. The Tibet permit requires a copy of your passport and Chinese visa, and it usually takes about 17-25 working days.

    You could also ask this girl whether she might be interested in upgrading to the Twin-share accommodation in Comfortable Class (4* hotels), private option, with accommodation for 2 people per room.
    
    I also have a question: in these hotels, are the beds separate when two people share a room?

    For this 15-day group tour, we have a departure date on 23 June, not on 22 June. This group tour requires at least 4 travelers. Now, two clients have booked it.
    I'll ask the client if she is willing to upgrade the room to 4-star and share a room with you. When two clients share a room, we usually a twin room with two seperate beds.

    We can offer an invitation letter and itinerary without Tibet/Lhasa if you book the tour. When you apply for your Chinese visa, don't mention anything about Tibet. It is because if you mention that you would travel to Tibet during your stay in China, the Chinese Embassy would require you to present a Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit (also called Tibet Travel Permit); but here in Tibet, the Tibet Tourism Bureau would NOT issue a TTB until your China Visa copy is provided. To sum up, they are contradictory policies of different government departments that never get fixed, somehow.

    For the help during the Kora, do you mean to rent a horse or a porter? Horse rental and porter services are both hired for a minimum of three days, and there is no refund even if you do not use the full three days.
    Last year, the cost of hiring a horse for three days was around CNY2500–3000, while a porter cost around CNY1200–1,500 for three days. The exact price can be negotiated on site.

    How should I do this step by step regarding the visa? They will see it from the flight tickets anyway. I'm planning to buy tickets from Stockholm to Beijing, then a connecting flight to Lhasa. For the return, I'll fly from Lhasa to Chengdu and then back to Stockholm.

    Regarding the flight tickets, you could try to find a way so that the segment to Lhasa is not displayed. Alternatively, you can book flights to/out from Beijing/Chengdu that can be refunded. Also, you can consult a visa agent, which may be helpful.

    I am afraid to pay for your tour because it is unclear whether I will get a visa given these issues. I think it is better to state everything honestly, including that I am traveling to Lhasa.

    We have indeed had some clients whose Chinese visa applications were denied after mentioning Tibet / Lhasa during the visa application process.
    
    To avoid this situation, we usually advise clients not to mention Tibet / Lhasa. Clients who used the invitation letter and itinerary we provided, without mentioning Tibet, have successfully obtained their Chinese visas.

    I understand your concern. However, we can only provide the invitation letter and itinerary after the tour has been booked, because these are official documents and we are legally responsible for them.
    
    If you are concerned about the visa, we recommend applying for your Chinese visa first and booking the tour afterward.

    We do provide a Tibet entry permit for this journey, as well as an invitation letter for your China visa application. Porters may get involved on Days 8, 9, and 10, usually within 15 kilos.

    Do your colleagues pick me up at the airport's entrance hall for arrivals in Lhasa? And do i need to get the permit and letter for entering Tibet before I apply for a visa for China?

    Your tour guide will pick you up at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, usually at exit 5. You should apply for your China visa (without mentioning Tibet) first, then we use your China visa and passport copies to apply for your Tibet travel permit. If you mention Tibet, they will ask you to present your Tibet travel permit. But in Tibet, without your China visa, they will not issue a Tibet travel permit. To sum up, it's a loop and the conflict policy of different government departments. If you book with us, we can provide you a China travel invitation letter and itinerary.

  Can I please ask if instead of doing Kailash Kora, a trip to Guge kingdom (Tholing Monastery, Dongga and Piyang ruins) can be arranged for me? So I will join the group for Kailash Kora but take a deviation from Darchen to Guge Kingdom and then meet the group at Darchen after they complete the Kora?

    We don't have group departures in April and we have a group departure on 4 May you can join. The addtinal fee for replacing the trekking with Guge Kingdom is USD1500 (10-day private guide, the food and accommodation of the private guide, the vehicle operating cost, and the cost diffierence of the hotel)
