  The downside is that there were differences between what we were told in Bogota vs what we were told in Santa Marta....
  The downside is that there were differences between what we were told in Bogota vs what we were told in Santa Marta. There was little opportunity to take pictures--it was more a march. The upside is that the meals and accommodations exceeded expectations. I think this should be rated a 4, not a 3 on difficulty. I have some suggestions for the people who take care of the site and campsites if you care to contact me.Show more

  We had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Daniel was terrific in Bogota, very helpful and took excellent care of us. In Santa Marta we had Miguel Gonzalez from Expotour instead of Wilson since Wilson's knee was bothering him. Miguel was fantastic. He grew up in those mountains and knew everybody and everything about the flora and fauna. The food was fantastic, the beds very comfortable, and the general experience was fantastic. We felt we where in excellent hands all the way around. The trek thru the mountains was pretty hard - a bit more than I expected but I realize it's more of my naivete than anything. One thing we learned is just go by what Miguel suggested; it was always the best idea after looking over our choices. I really, really loved it.Show more

  The Hidden Colombia trip with OneSeed was amazing. We had a great time in Bogota and during the trek. The guides were great, super helpful. I would recommend this trip if you enjoy trekking in a warmer climate. The "Lost City" is beautiful. OneSeed makes the process so easy, with packing lists and break down of every day. I definitely felt prepared for this adventure before my departure. Show more

  Hi, the trip was great. I enjoyed Bogota and the guide there was great. The hotel in Santa Marta was really nice. The trek was long and day 2 and 3 were long and quite challenging. The Lost City was worth the hike. The food along the trek was great and the guide was so nice and helpful. Show more

  My mother and I went on the Hidden Colombia trek to the Lost City back in January/February of 2015 and were so absolutely amazed at our experience! Almost every single thing was taken care of for us by OneSeed: from our airport rides in Bogota, our B&B accommodations, our flight to Santa Marta, all meals while on the breath-taking hike to La Ciudad Perdida, and so much more! Our guides, Sally and Wilson, were beyond great, and our cook, Danilo, was fabulous! We had three perfect meals per day, plus a couple carb-loaded snacks in between to fuel our bodies throughout the day while climbing the Andes. Our experience was so perfect, that my mom and I went AGAIN in January, 2016! We just simply had a craving for more intense hiking. The second time around was just as great as the first. Hopefully we will be booking a third trip with OneSeed in the next few months, either to Machu Picchu or back to Colombia! I would recommend them to anybody!Show more
