Arrival in Cairns
Your representative picks you up at Cairns airport and takes you to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to unwind, check out what the hotel offers, or take a walk around the neighborhood and central Cairns to get your bearings.

Moore Reef
You'll head out to Moore Reef on the Great Barrier Reef using their custom floating pontoon. Snorkel in the natural lagoon, take a semi-submersible or glass-bottom boat tour, visit the underwater observatory, or watch the touch tank presentations. If kids are with you, they can enjoy the enclosed ocean pool or try the 30-meter waterslide.

Landmarks Moore Reef Great Barrier Reef - Day 3
Scenic Railway & Skyrail
Board the historic Scenic Railway to Kuranda, traveling through rainforests and past waterfalls. Once there, take an amphibious duck tour through the rainforest and river system, stop by a tropical fruit orchard, and wander the bohemian village checking out markets, cafes, and galleries. You'll return via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with views of the canopy below, stopping at mid-stations to walk through the rainforest sections.

Fitzroy Island
A boat takes you to Fitzroy Island Resort, about 45 minutes and 30kms from Cairns. The island has nice beaches and calm waters perfect for swimming and water sports, plus it's 97% National Park with tropical rainforest. You can walk established tracks to Welcome Bay, Nudey Beach, the Summit, or the historic lighthouse.

You have the full day at Fitzroy Island with no scheduled activities. Relax on the beach, swim, explore trails at your own speed, or just take it easy however you like.

Landmarks Fitzroy Island - Day 6
City Tour & Dinner Cruise
The ferry leaves Fitzroy Island at 9:30 am and gets you to Marlin Marina by 10:30 am. After checking into your hotel and having an early lunch, you'll join a guided city tour hitting St. Monica's Cathedral, Cairns Museum, Flecker Botanic Gardens, Lower Barron Falls, and Palm Cove Beach. Later on there's afternoon tea with scones, then you board the Spirit of Cairns for a 3-course dinner cruise through Trinity Inlet at sunset.
