    You'll arrive in Amsterdam and head straight to your luxury river ship, getting settled into your suite. After you've had time to unpack a bit, there's a welcome reception this evening where you can meet fellow travelers and the crew.

    Amsterdam

    This morning you can choose between three options: take a canal cruise to see the waterways and historic landmarks, do a walking tour that includes tastings of local Dutch food, or head out to see windmills and the cheese markets in Alkmaar. Later in the afternoon, the ship departs and you'll start cruising toward Cologne.

    Cologne

    After breakfast you'll arrive in Cologne and explore the Old Town on a guided walk. You'll visit the Cologne Cathedral, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and check out the Christmas markets with local treats and decorations. The ship sets sail again during dinner.

    Rhine Gorge to Rüdesheim

    Today you're cruising through the Rhine Gorge, a 65-kilometer section with around 40 castles perched on hilltops along the way. After lunch you'll dock in Rudesheim, which sits surrounded by steep vineyards. You can visit Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum by mini train, then walk through the town to see the Christmas markets, wine taverns, and beer gardens.

    The ship continues toward Miltenberg. After lunch you'll explore this well-preserved historic town with a local guide, walking the cobblestone streets with their pastel half-timbered houses. You'll visit Zum Riesen, which is Germany's oldest inn, then head on to Wertheim, a charming town where two rivers meet.

    Würzburg

Later the ship moves to Durnstein for the afternoon.

    Budapest

    Happy New Year. You'll walk the cobblestone streets of the Old Town, see medieval buildings and bustling squares, and visit the 14th-century Astronomical Clock that chimes with a procession of the 12 Apostles. The rest of the day is yours to explore.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
