  We did the ultimate Kenya and Tanzania group safari 11 days. The kenya side was very unorganised and frustrating. We felt we had no idea what was happening, our tour guide was very slow, never met the timings he gave us. We werent told pick up times. Other couples in the group were also very confused the entire time. The day we travelled from Kenya to Tanzania no lunch was provided so we went the day without eating, some dinners in Kenya were not included which was strange. The Tanzania side was amazing, our tour guide was excellent and we were told exactly what was happening and when. The accomodation was awesome and all meals were delicious. The packed lunches in Kenya were terrible and mostly went un eaten. For the price we pay we should not be expected to tip our guides as much as we were. The days could be long, we had one 11 hour day in Kenya which got past the point of enjoyable and just became frustrating as we only had one toilet break the entire day. Overall the guides made sure we got to see all the awesome animals and were very knowledgable, however is a very expensive tour for what we got.Show more

  The safari was great. The two tour guides, Chris in Kenya and Tanga in Tanzania, did the utmost to accommodate us, took all necessary precautions to ensure our safety, and guided us to see wildlife, including the Big Five and more. Joyce was fabulous from pre-booking through the end, providing administrative support, and she never failed to respond in a timely manner. For future travelers, be aware that travel on bumpy, dusty roads may take much longer than the itinerary states.Show more

  Enjoyed safari package. Tour guides were knowledgeable, which enabled us to view the Big 5 animals and much more, very quickly. Great food, accomodations, coordination, safety and security. Unforgetable adventures throughout the tour. Were not able to see the Serengeti because of the election. Enjoyed meeting and interacting with the World Adventure Tours staff and other safari travlers. Appreciated the beaches and activities in Zanzibar.   We had such a wonderful time on our safari travelling with our family of four. Thanks to Joyce for her exceptional work in organising the tour and flights - she was very flexible and responsive which made the whole experience seamless. The tour was meticulously organised, with the schedule well set out, lovely and comfortable accommodation and all the logistics including border crossings taken care of. We had two fabulous tour guides- James in Tanzania and Samuel in Kenya. Both were very knowledgeable, organised, patient and friendly and accommodating of our requests. We saw amazing wildlife and scenery across Lake Nakuru, Masaai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro, including getting up close with prides of lions, cheetah, rhinos (black and white, including babies), elephants, jackal, hyena, giraffe, zebra and much more.Show more

  Trip of a Lifetime with World Adventure Tours! We were warmly welcomed in Kenya by our fantastic World Adventure Tours representative, Joyce, who introduced us to our Kenyan driver, Sammy, and sent us off on our incredible adventure. This truly was a trip of a lifetime! We travelled during the low season, which we were told could make wildlife harder to spot due to recent rains—but from Day One, the animals were everywhere! One of the best parts was the lack of tourist crowds; many times, we were the only vehicle around, giving us unforgettable, up-close experiences before moving on to our next exciting find. Sammy was a kind, knowledgeable guide who showed us the stunning plains of the Maasai Mara with real passion and expertise. Then came Tanzania—an absolute step up in terms of wildlife! If you're heading to the Serengeti, we highly recommend Emmanuel as your guide. He knew the area like the back of his hand and had a great sense of humour. He went above and beyond to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. Everywhere we went, we were met with kindness and warmth. The lodges and camps were beautiful, and again, thanks to the low season, we had many places almost to ourselves. The food throughout the trip was excellent, and we had no issues at all with gluten-free and vegetarian dietary needs being accommodated. On top of that, the price was amazing for everything that was included—meals, guides, accommodations, and all the incredible experiences. If you can, add on a few days in Zanzibar at the end of your safari. It’s the perfect place to relax after all the excitement—and there’s more wildlife too! We swam with wild dolphins and got to see the critically endangered Red Colobus monkeys up close in Jozani Forest. We highly recommend World Adventure Tours. Everything was thoughtfully planned, and so much was packed into the experience. Thank you, Joyce, for helping make it all so special!Show more

  We had a great time on our 9-day safari and even added a10th day. We saw all the big 5 and more, even saw animals we'd never heard of, and LOTS of bird species. The safari lodges and tent camps were nice but the early rains made the remoteness a bit difficult. Our drivers didn't get stuck but we had to get around others who had gotten stuck. We are used to those kinds of roads, so we were fine with it and realized that's how you see the cool animals, is driving into remote areas! While we understand the guides communicate with each other by car radio to locate the animals, we felt the radio/phone use got a bit loud, but he did turn it down and used it less after we asked him to. Overall we were extremely happy with the variety of the parks and wildlife and highly recommend the tour!Show more
