  When is your earliest availability for the Inca Trail and the Salkantay Trail?

    Classic Inca Trail
    - Pros:
    - Iconic and historic route with original Inca stone pathways and ruins along the way.
    - You arrive to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate (Inti Punku), which is a very special first view.
    - Cons:
    - Strictly limited permits; it often sells out months in advance, especially for October.
    - More regulated and less flexible with dates and daily distances.

    I would be alone. However, I don't want a private tour but go the trail with a group of others that booked the tour with your company

  is the Inca Trail Permit included and guaranteed to be accepted in this trip? I know they are hard to get and dont want to book the trip just for that not to be accepted.

    yes, Inca trail permit is included. It is important that the passport information that is submitted with the permit application is exactly the same as the passport that will be used when travelling in Latin America and it must have 6 months validity at time of travel. Passports must be presented to enter the trail.

    When will I know if the review has been successful for the permit? I dont want to book flights etc and then find out it hasnt gone through.

    If your flight does not arrive in time for the kick‐off meeting at 08:00 AM or for any included activities, please note that missed portions of the trip cannot be deducted from the overall price. This will not be an issue, but for a smooth start to your journey we strongly recommend arriving before the trip start date or booking an early flight schedule.
