Very good organised 2 day tour to Sacred valley & Machu Picchu, everything was clear and in time. Knowledgeable, professional guides. Wanted to say special thank you to our guide Eddie Puma and the team who were not only high professionals but also were very responsive when we encountered a personal issue with a forgotten bag, they worked hard and managed to get our bag back to a different city before our flight in just a few hours Thank you so much guys, best luck in what you do! Highly recommended

My trail with Alpaca Expeditions was just beyond expectations on all levels. I worried the most about the hygiene part, but they gave us with a tub of hot water at every campsite to freshen up! Also the food was just amazing, to think of how they could provide us with such a varied and fun menu (lot’s of oeh’s and ah’s!) during the trail is still a mystery to me. It just shows how hard chef Sebastián and his team work for us. The same goes for Sergio and his team of (extremely strong and sexy) porters, it's simply humbling. I did not expect to bond with our group as much as we did, including our tourguides Jhymy and Celio. They knew exactly what they were doing and they did it in such a fun way. They both have a trusting energy and they take you very seriously so I always felt taken care of. Which is such a blessing when you're on top on that mountain struggling! I think it's important to choose local as much as possible, and of course I also wanted a good and trustworthy company. This is definitely what I found in Alpaca Expeditions. Our group had many travelers with amazing experiences but I think that for many of us, the Inca trail was a once in a lifetime experience. And for me at least, I can say it's one of the special ones. Thank you so much to my group, Alpaca and Pachamamma!

This trek experience was one of the best times of my life. We hiked around 82 kilometers total as I choose go a little farther after camp to see some temples. This is the best way to see camino Inka - the Andes mountains are truly beautiful and so are the people along the way. My guide Freddie did everything he could to make sure I was ok at all times. Freddie is educated from the university on Inka history and Machu Picchu and can answer any questions along the hike. Our chef Felix was amazing and made better food than some restaurants! Keep in mind that you are camping- real camping. But the horsemen and porters will carry most of your things. You’ll have a small pack but they can carry the rest of your clothes. If you’re up for an adventure and ready to hike is all conditions than this is your trek!
