How to buy the entrance to the Machu Picchu please?

In the Short Inca Trail, we include visits to two circuits in Machu Picchu: Circuit 1B and Circuit 3B. Circuit 1B covers the upper terraces, where you can enjoy panoramic views and take the classic postcard pictures of Machu Picchu. Circuit 3B covers the lower part of the citadel, including important temples and enclosures.

We have a question about the 2-day Inca Trail. We are traveling to Peru in August-September 2025 and are very eager to visit Machu Picchu. We would like to start the trail on September 7, 2025, and have a few questions: Is it possible to book the tour through you? Which circuit is included in the tour? What is included in the tour? How much does the tour cost?

Yes, we can book the Short Inca Trail for you starting on September 7th, 2025. You will follow Circuit 3, which covers the lower sections of the citadel, including temples, palaces, and key archaeological areas. The tour includes a professional bilingual guide, entrance tickets for the Short Inca Trail and Machu Picchu, 1 night accommodation in Aguas Calientes, all meals, Vistadome train tickets, transportation, hiking poles, and first aid kit. The price per adult is 603 Euros.

The Classic Inca Trail is available every day in June, but places fill up quickly. Please let us know your preferred travel dates and I will check them for availability.

What group size should I expect for the tour?

The tours typically have a limit on group size to ensure a more personalized experience, and you will be informed upon booking.

What recommendations do you have for essential items to pack for the trek?

Bring your original passport, hiking boots, a good quality daypack, and rain gear among other essentials like water and snacks.

Can I book an extra night staying at the hotel after the tour? If yes, how can I do it?

The Short Inca Trail includes accommodation in Aguas Calientes. If you're referring to staying an extra night in Aguas Calientes, of course, it's possible! We would be happy to assist you with that. You can stay at the same hotel.

How do I get from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu?

There are buses available that regularly travel from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, included in your itinerary.

How can I check the availability of accommodations in Cusco?

The two day Machu Picchu tour was amazing! My friends and I had such an amazing experience as the trip was well coordinated. Our guide Katie was phenomenal, and did such an awesome job making us feel at ease and incorporating so much history and her own personal history through the trek. The porters and chef were rockstars despite being short staffed and we had delicious meals and a very comfortable camping experience despite the weather! So many logistics to coordinate four our group of four and they really knocked it out of the park. A bonus for us was how well our guide paced us throughout the hike. This was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I was traveling with a group of 4 and decided on the 2-day Shirt Inca Trail tour which was well worth it. The booking process was very simple and communication was very clear from the beginning. The experience of hiking the trail itself was so amazing but the support staff, specifically our guide Katie, made it an experience to remember. The drivers were very prompt, the chefs cooked us amazing meals, the porters transported our belongings to our camp. Our guide Katie not only led us along the trail, she shared her culture with us, explained the importance of the sites we trekked through, and spoke about the ecological, historical, and archeological aspects along the way. Katie had such a warm and uplifting energy about her and went out of her way to make sure our group was prepared and comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this tour more and if at all possible would suggest requesting Katie as your guide.Show more
