before I decide whether I'll book this tour, I'd like to know more details about the penguin tour specifically. What exactly is this? Where do you go to see the penguins? Do you see them just from a boat or do you walk on land with them?

Can I have my own tent or do I have to share? What types of food are served for breakfast and dinner? Can I get beer and/or wine?

Tent Sharing: You will share a two-man tent during the 3 camping nights in Torres del Paine National Park. Unfortunately, a single supplement is not available for camping nights. However, if you bring your own tent, you can stay in it, and you will be provided with a sleeping mat. Food: Breakfast includes hearty options like cereals, bread, and fruits. Dinner is a hot meal, typically including stews, pasta, meat, and vegetables. Beer/Wine: Alcohol availability is limited in remote areas, but may be available in larger towns. You may need to bring your own for the camping portion.

I was just just wondering what the age/gender/couples breakdown was like for the people booked on the tour? Wary of ending up on a hiking tour with a lot of older people who might be a bit slow!

Currently we have only 2 passengers for the trip - Classic Hikes of Patagonia departing on 24 Jan 2024. 20 to 29 years : 01 passenger, 50 to 59 years : 01 passenger. We are pleased to offer a complimentary hold on the trip for 48 hours, after which a deposit of 400 is required to confirm your space.

Myself and a group of friends are interested in something like your "Ends of the Earth" tour in November 2024. Do you have such a tour which links perhaps with Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls? South America is a long way to come from New Zealand, and we would like to cover the ground fairly well. The group is mostly over 50 years of age, so not terribly keen on camping if it was avoidable. Please advise to give us an idea of what you could do, including costings. Thanks!

  The penguin tour visits Martillo island owned by Estancia Harberton and the marine-life museum. Here penguins and other types of wildlife may be spotted. Passengers do deboard from the boat and walk on the island. The tour's duration is 7 hours and it can be paid by card or cash (only US dollars or Argentinian Pesos).
