Can we stay in or around Lisbon for 3 days before rejoining the tour? Is this good and are hotels and travel fully covered. Costs too please.

You could join the group on Day 1 in Porto. Kindly note that the unused services are not deducted from the total price. INCLUSIONS: Guided city tour with local guides in Porto (including Douro Cruise and wine tasting) and Lisbon / Tour director throughout the journey / Transportation in luxury coach / Accommodation at selected hotel class / Daily breakfast / Travel insurance. PRICES PER PERSON IN DOUBLE ROOM: A CLASS:1150 €, T CLASS: 985 €

What is the cancellation policy for the tour?

The cancellation policy varies depending on the tour. You can review the specific terms directly on our website or contact customer support for detailed information.

What time does this tour get back to Madrid? I am looking at the 6-11 May dates.

The expected arrival time in Madrid is 18.00-19.00 hrs, but it depends on the traffic. We never recommend to take a flight/train on the same day. We are not responsible for it in case you miss it.

What is the difference between T and A class accommodations? There are three of us. My husband, self, and our adult son. Also a question about vegetarian/vegan options.

A class includes 4 star superior hotels, situated closer to the city centre. T class is in 4 star standard hotels. Triple rooms are always subject to availability. In case one or more hotels cannot guarantee the availability of the triple room, we will proceed to reserve a double and single room with the corresponding supplement. Special vegetarian/vegan menus are not guaranteed.

Is there a pick-up at the airport or hotels day before the tour?

The only pick up & drop off point for this tour is ALOFT GRAN VIA HOTEL. (Pick up at the airport is not available). It is possible to add an arrival transfer as extra service. The price for 3 passengers is 90€/service.

Is there assistance available for passengers with mobility issues?

Passengers with mobility issues should travel with a companion as the wheelchair must be foldable to ensure storage on the bus. Please note, most of our tours involve walking.

Can special accommodation requests be guaranteed?

While we note all special requests regarding accommodations, they are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

The tour was ok. I did inform Julia Travel that I am an English speaking traveller. I ask them before booking if that was a problem they said no because I knew the tour was only offered in Spanish or Portuguese. I had a good time but definitely not the best tour I have been. I felt like I couldn’t connect with the rest of the group because I couldn’t have conversations in Spanish. I would recommend the tour if you spoke Spanish but definitely not if you only speak English. The local guides did try to accommodate me but for sure felt like I was a nuisance as I was the only English speaking person in the group. There was a family that spoke English as they are living in the USA but they spoke Spanish so they were fine. They were so sweet I bonded with them probably the only highlight of the tour for me.Show more

I am from the U.S. and happened upon an advertisement for solo travel through the Tour Radar agency and booked through them as the price and payment plan terms were within my budget. This was my first solo trip to Europe and although I was nervous, I am so thrilled that I pulled the trigger and did it! I did the 6 day trip from Madrid to Lisbon and back to Madrid stopping at several beautiful towns/cities. I love old architecture and I made some wonderful memories and took many jaw dropping photos. Our guide, Marina, was phenomenal. She was a great guide; captivating narration, humorous and ensured I understood everything as I was on the only English speaker (trip was bilingual - first she spoke in Spanish and then English). She made me feel very comfortable. I appreciated how after each walking portion and she sent us off on our own for lunch - she went over where to meet at by showing landmarks to ensure we wouldn't get lost. She also pointed out where shops and restaurants would be. All 3 hotels were great. Porto hotel was on the outskirts of the city but was attached to a mall so it was still a good option. I loved this trip so much and am grateful for the long lasting memories.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of $50 is required to confirm your booking with Julia Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Julia Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
