Yes during the Inca Trail Trek the ticket to Machu Picchu is included. The hike gets straight to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate, and you will have a guided tour in Machu Picchu for about two hours.

We just finished our hike to Machu Picchu through the Classic Inca Trail 4 Days. This was one of the best hikes I have ever done, from the organization to the entire team. The company did a great job including everything we needed during those four days. After we contacted Vidal, the owner, he explained to us all the details; how difficult will be it, what to pack, and how to prepare for it. The entire team was absolutely amazing, always smiling at us and giving us some extra energy. Our guide was Urbano, who was excellent 10/10 very informative, patient, and knowledgeable about the history. The porters there were super heroes, always fast and happy to work there, even with the huge bags they were carrying with a big smile. ;) Food was great as well, we got three meals every day and full varied. Honestly I was surprised how they made all those without good cooking stuff. I am happy to have chosen Vidal Expeditions for this trek, small group, very responsible guide and trekking team. Also the owner was very kind with us. I will definitely recommend to everyone and I will back to hike again the Salkantay Trek.Show more

We had a great time hiking to Machu Picchu through the Classic Inca Trail; our guide was Guido, who supported us the entire trip. The hike itself was quite demanding specially the second day was the toughest, reaching 4,215 meters; however, with those guys in our team, it was not impossible. We were only 5 people, and all of us were first-time reaching this high; Guido made for very interesting walking and learning all the culture and history. Our porters team did a great job transporting what we needed during these four days. Our chef Miguel prepared such nice meals, and all these different ones every day. Vidal Expeditions included everything for our trip, from the transportation to the entrance fees. Highly recommended.Show more

He always looked out for us and was very informative and helpful. There were three dishes served each day, and the cuisine was fantastic and really varied. What a great experience hiking to Machu Picchu through the Inca Trail, the crew was was awesome always helpful. Chino the guide was excellent his knowledge about the history, culture and the area made a lifetime experience. We were only 5 people in the group perfect size to enjoy the stunning views on the route. Vidal Expeditions manage well the entire organization of the trip, they always been attentive to all the details. The only things that they have to manage is about the restrooms on the campsite, not clean enough.Show more

Lifetime Experience hiking with Jose. We were only 4 people in our group and it was perfect to enjoy as much as possible every day on this trek. Jose made really well his job managing all concerning to the camping site, food, trekking team and great motivation for all of us to don't give up on the 2nd day the most challenging day. Victoriano our chef he was an excellent person who prepared incredible food and varied even for someone in the group who was vegan person. The camping gear were pretty good, designed for this kind of expeditions, good tents, air mattresses which is included in your packages, (not as other companies that you need to pay extra for it) dinning tent was big enough for all of us and the sleeping bag very comfortable. Vidal Expeditions team worked very well to set up our tents, prepare the food, and always there were smiling. This was great motivation for us even carrying many kilos on their back, they taught that nothing is impossible if you focus on it. Jose were really patient guide, always telling us the best words to keep pushing our body and get our goals, his knowledge about leading groups are incredible, history and all our quistiones were answered. Vidal Expeditions did great job organizing every details of this trip, and we made the right decision by choosing them for our journey in Peru. Definitely if we are going back to Peru we will take their service again, and also we will recommend to everyone go with them, I guarantee that you will have incredible experience!!Show more

We had great experience with Chino as our tour guide, this trip was well organized from the start to end, they did a great job to have excellent time and feel as at home. My wife and me hiked the classic inca trail to Machu Picchu, we took the service of Vidal Expeditions and WE LOVED IT!! it was an extraordinary experience on the Peruvian Andes and would recommed Vidal Expeditions to everybody!! Chino was our guide and he's awesome, he was full of knowledge about the Incan impere and many archaeological sites you encounter along the Inca trail. He also knew a ton about the flora and fauna we encountered and he was excited to share all this knowledge with us. Chino has been working on the Inca Trail for more than 10 years so he really knows his stuff. and he also is a kind of cool person who has enough patience for everyone who goes slowly. The porter team was incredible, we had a team of 8 porters (including the chef who performs the duties of a porter and chef) for 3 hikers. These guys were carrying uo to 50 ponds each with our tents, food, bathroom tent, and our belongings for whole trek. They also woke us up each day with hot coffe or coca tea in our tents and brought us hot water after a long day of hiking to wash up and soak your feet. Honestly Amazing!.. thank you. Percy, Celestino, Alejo, Seferino, Arturo, Mauro, Wilfredo and Segundo we appreciate what you did for all of us. From start to finish Vidal Expeditions made everything easy on the admin side of things too (Booking, Transport, storing luggages) Vidal the manager was lovely and friendly to talk with. TLDR: Book with VE, they are amazing!!Show more

Hike on the Inca trail with Vidal Expeditions and Antonio made of this trip a lifetime experience, our group was small only 5 people comparing the others more than 10 people. Everything were well organized from the pick up to the drop off the last day, the food was amazing and varied always using fresh products, the camping gear also was good enough for this kind of adventure and our Guide Antonio was the most incredible person I have ever met, he was more than our guide, he was part of our family and the group creating unforgettable moments. . What an amazing experience hiking through the classic Inca trail to Machu Picchu, I decided for Vidal Expeditions because they were really attentive since I contacted them and provide me all the details for this trek. Our guide were Marco and Jose both were extremely professional from the beginning to the end of the tour. whole team work very well along the tour, the porters were incredible carrying that big bags and Jorge the chef made wonderful meals everyday, I did not expect to have these varied of food, vegetarian options was fantastic. Entire camping equipment were great and good design for this trek tents and matts good brand too. Vidal Expeditions made very well organized this lifetime experience journey.
