Hello I am enquiring as to the usual group size of the tour, the average age of travellers and what countries they are usually from?

This tour operates with a minimum group size of 2 and maximum of 18, though the average on this particular tour tends to be under 10. We welcome travellers on our tours from any country and often have very mixed groups. Most passengers do tend to join our tours from North America and Europe though.

Are there any available extra options eg. camel rides/donkey rides/nubian dinner etc.?

We don't offer any donkey rides on this tour, however you'll have the opportunity to take a short camel ride whilst at the Pyramids. Our local guides whilst on the tour will help you to arrange this.

Where can I find more detailed information about this tour?

A trip note will be given, which contains essential information about your trip - the daily itinerary, where to meet on the first day, what time the trip starts, how to get to the joining point hotel, included activities, visa information, etc. Please contact us for this.

I'll be arriving earlier than the scheduled tour, will it matter, especially with the accommodation?

Day 1 is just an arrival day so it doesn't really matter what time you arrive on this day, though you'll only be able to access your hotel room from 2pm. At the end of the tour, the final day is also just a departure day so you can leave at anytime, though you'll need to vacate your hotel room by 12 midday.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 18th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 18th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Encounters Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Encounters Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
