Great tour - not only did we have a fantastic time on Safari and get to see the Big 5 but our cook (Malinga), driver (Steve) and guide (Leah) were fantastic. They went over and beyond to help us see so many animals, were patient when we had any issues, and ensured I could eat all the meals (I can't have dairy or gluten). All in all a great trip for the cost. Although be warned this is 100% a rough and tough camping trip - expect zero luxury!Show more

This was a MEMORABLE trip! All 3 staff, Heston, Westinghouse and Alois, were 5 star in every way. I'm my opinion, a better more upscale hotel would be a good start to thus trip. I found the Kenya Comfort Hotel to be seriously lacking. For the amazing day at Maasi Mara, please include the price of the jeep in the tour. There is no way we could have seen what we saw if we had been in the big bus. Please also upgrade the bus to include an electronic ice chest. We all purchased beverages that needed to be chilled, and ice was almost impossible to find. Finally, the tents are old, heavy and difficult to assemble. Please consider a tent upgrade for the future.Show more

One area that could be improved was the tour guide’s ability to switch between Spanish and English. A considerable amount of time was spent explaining things in Spanish, followed by only a brief explanation in English. This sometimes made it difficult for English-speaking guests to keep up, and on occasions we missed important information about the places we were visiting. Perhaps introduce Whispers in Spanish and English this way all languages can be understood of the places we were passing by Another issue was the timing of lunch, which was often very late, sometimes as late as 3:30 pm. As we were generally doing a city tour before stopping for lunch, it may have worked much better to have lunch first and then continue with the city tour. This would have made the day more comfortable and avoided such a late lunches.Show more

Your brother in law can have his own single room for pre and post as these are option - the cost would be $145 for a single in kenya per night and $135 for a single in Dar es Salaam per night.
