We are planning to have our 2027 dates and rates released by end of May this year. Once released it will be updated as well on this platform.

Is the upper age limit 65 or is it flexible? Approx. how much extra would a single supplement be?

You are more than welcome to travel with us if you older than 65, however for clients 65 years and older we do require for them to complete a medical questionnaire but in terms of travel you are more than welcome. The single supplement for this tour is around USD 570.

We are a family of 4 Travellers including 1 elderly (68 years old). Please could you provide a quote & itinerary for this trip from Nairobi til Dar-es-salaam only, thanks

This 22-day adventure is available from R95,950 per person sharing (Accommodated option). We also offer the same tour in reverse - from Victoria Falls to Nairobi - so your choice can be tailored to best fit your preferred travel dates and availability.

Can you advise which vaccines are required for the countries on that trip?

Only yellow fever is needed and if covid vaccine (but not compulsory) but if you are you dont need testing along the way. If you not vaccinated some countries still do require PCR test for non vaccinated. I always suggest that you go to your nearest GP or Travel clinic as they will guide you with the most up to date information on the countries you are visiting.

  It looks like a couple of countries for this trip require either the Covid Vaccine or a negative test within 72 hours. As I do not have the vaccine and as some of those countries we will visit during the middle of this trip then it will be impossible for anyone to obtain a negative test less than 72 hours before visiting those countries unless they get that test during the trip. So my question is will there be opportunities to get a PCR test at some point during the trip in order to be able to enter the countries? Will this be an option at the border? Will there be the possibility of stopping somewhere to get this?

  For the camping tour the single supplement is 110 Euro and for the accommodated tour the single supplement is 450 Euro. The tour for the 23rd of December is still available but not yet confirmed to depart. We require minimum 4 clients for a tour to proceed and up to date i unfortunately dont have any bookings yet on this date. Unfortunately you will be responsible in buying your own insurance (what we normally just advise regarding insurance is that it should cover a medical evacuation) and airticket - this is something we don't assist with unfortunately - but we have picked up a lot of people that book this tour make use of Ethiopian Airline if that helps.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before November 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after November 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Nomad Africa Adventure Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
