How many people are usually in the group on these tours and is my age suitable, in other words is there a range of ages on these groups or do they all tend to be under 40 for example? Am I right in thinking the cost does not include travel to and from Morocco? Does the cost include accommodation and all meals?

The maximum group size for our tours is 12 people so it is a relatively small group. There is no age requirements for any of these trips all ages over 15 are accepted however, I do find that our 50 - 70+ age group tends to book more on our premium itineraries. The price listed does include all accommodations, transport. some meals and activities within Morocco. There is also a complimentary arrival airport transfer but not a departure transfer, we can set that up for an additional cost if needed. International flights and insurance are not included and you will need to get those separately.

Is there a camel ride on this tour?

Unfortunately there's no camel ride included on this tour. There is one on our Premium Morocco Explorer tour (code: XMPF). It's a 12 day tour departing from Casablanca and finishing in Marrakech.

Morocco was well outside my comfort zone as an American who hadn’t previously been outside of the western world or the Caribbean. Traveling via a well established tour company with a guide who was native to the country, religion, and culture was uppermost in my mind. That knowledge alleviated my anxiety and uncertainty. I especially valued the closer glimpses of everyday life provided to us by two different meals in private homes, a dinner in Fes and, later in the tour, lunch in the home of a rural farmer near the Atlas Mountains. Additionally, our guide took us through multiple medinas and, especially, crowded souks that I never would have entered on my own. I could have toured Morocco without his assistance but the experience would have been much less rich and memorable.Show more

I expected this trip to Morocco to be great but it was even far better than I expected. I'm a 64 year old solo woman traveler with an arthritic knee. It was my first trip with Intrepid but it won't be my last. The guides, transportation, food, accommodations and itinerary were all excellent. Our tour guide was extremely helpful and patient and interesting. He made the history and culture of Morocco so interesting. There wasn't a single hiccup with the logistics all week and I was continually impressed with the selection of places to go, including artist cooperatives and the use of women guides. Show more

For vegans wondering whether this trip will work for you!: yes I did not have many issues as a vegan on this trip. At one restaurant they had to make up a meal because they didn't have a vegan one on the menu but it was good so don't worry they understand and your tour guide can help explain. Good news vegetarian tagine and coucous you can get basically everywhere and they are already vegan! There is a stop into a leather goods shop in Fes during the trip, but you can just stick with the tour guide rather than going in with the group so they don't think you are buying :)Show more
