I am looking for an organized guided tour in Switzerland in August for me and my 16 years old son. We have direct flights from Israel to Geneve. I would like to include a panoramic train ride and a walking-hiking day tour.

What is your single traveller policy if sharing accomodation? And if I need an extra night after the tour what would the cost be and can you include an airport transfer? Looking at 1st September tour.

If you're traveling solo, you'll need to book the single occupancy rate, as we unfortunately do not offer room sharing options on this tour. Airport transfers are included if you arrive and depart on the same dates as the tour. If you'd like to add an extra night after the tour, I'd be happy to provide a quote that includes the additional hotel night and a private transfer to the airport.

What is the cancellation policy for this tour?

46 days or more before the departure date, we provide a full refund minus a $100 USD transaction fee. 45 days to 21 days prior to departure date 50% of the total price. 20 days to, including on and after departure date 100% of the total price.

Could you please advise if the traveller can share a triple room, as they wish to stay in the same room? If possible, kindly provide a quote for the traveller. Additionally, the traveller would like to know if there is a specific timeframe they need to arrive on Day 1 to utilize the airport transfer service, or if they can arrive at any time.

The triple rate is the per person rate for the double (same rate). Day 1, you can arrive any time.

Is there available spot for 3 travellers for dates June 2 to June 7?

At this time, there is space, however, the availability is subject to change at the time of booking.

Will this tour be available for Jan. Feb. or March 2026?

This tour will be available next year. The 2026 rates will be released later this year.

Would you have tours in early 2026? Is airfare included?

We expect the 2026 rates to be released by the end of August.

Is the tour suitable for someone who doesn't speak very good English and might need support?

The guide will speak English. While the traveler may need occasional assistance, the guide will be there to help ensure her comfort during the trip.

Does the tour actually leave Geneva that day? Or would I have time to take a train from Basel upon disembarkation

The tour officially begins in Geneva on September 29th, with no scheduled activities on Day 1. This allows you the flexibility to arrive at your convenience. Disembarking from your cruise in Basel on the same day, you can comfortably take a train to Geneva. The journey typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours, offering scenic views of the Swiss countryside. This schedule should provide ample time for you to settle into your accommodations and prepare for the tour's commencement the following day.

You booked our 6-day tour that starts and ends in Geneva. We also offer a 7-day version that begins in Zurich, where travellers join the same group later on. The inclusions and itinerary in each version differ slightly. As Zurich and Geneva are nearly four hours apart by road, each tour has a designated start and end city. We unfortunately have no record that you were looking to start in Zurich. All clients who booked the 6-day version began their journey in Geneva, so there was no difference in treatment. For your convenience, we also ensured that you stayed in the same hotel in Geneva as your pre-night, so you wouldn’t need to move accommodations. The itinerary you booked was outlined with the start and end cities (as Geneva), including the inclusions, and the documents for your trip also indicated that the start city was Geneva. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
