We wish to do this cruise in reverse, that is Amsterdam to Basel, starting about 23 May. Is this option available?

We have switched the itinerary to reflect from Amsterdam to Basel. But the 22-29th May departure date is completely sold out. But we do see space on the 8-15th May departure.

Our cruise on MS Symphonie was excellent. The boat and our cabin in particular were comfortable and well equipped. The food was very good, tasty, beautifully prepared and presented, with well-sized portions, and a wide variety of French cuisine including many regional specialities. The included wines were varied, delicious and demonstrated an interesting range of French varieties. The range of the other drinks on offer was also very satisfactory. We did not feel it was necessary to try any of the paid drinks but it was nice to know they were available. Service was excellent in all categories: efficient and friendly. We only took two of the optional excursions (Strasbourg and Colmar) and both were well organised and very interesting. We would happily take another cruise with CroisiEurope.Show more

Excellent except for giuded tour in English in Köln. Guide's English was not good enough and she could not makea good narrative. Köln, generally could be skipped for something else, not very attractive. Vegetarian food was ok, but not excellent; lacking a bit of phantasy. It usually does not work so well to just replace the piece of meat with something like egg. One needs to create another dish. Also necessary information about that we eat vegetarian was not passed to the kitchen, so they had to improvise on the first day.Show more
