Arusha
You'll arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where someone meets you and drives you to your lodge in Arusha. The afternoon is yours to do as you like, whether that's walking around town or just relaxing at the lodge before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire
After a relaxed morning that includes a safari briefing and lunch, you'll leave Arusha in your safari vehicle. The drive takes you through the Masai Steppe past local villages and plantations, heading toward Lake Burunge on Tarangire's western side. You'll reach the lakeside camp by evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 3
Tarangire
Start early with a game drive through Tarangire National Park looking for lions and elephants among the baobab trees and around Silale Swamp. Back at the lodge for lunch, then you'll head out again in the afternoon, this time driving north toward Lake Manyara. By evening you're at your clifftop lodge overlooking the Rift Valley.

- Day 4
Lake Manyara to Serengeti
Have breakfast and then spend the morning on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. After returning for lunch, you'll travel northwest through highland areas with wheat and coffee farms, entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue toward the Serengeti with wildlife viewing along the way, arriving at camp for dinner.

Serengeti
Head out from the lodge after breakfast for morning and afternoon game drives across the Serengeti plains. You'll look for the Big Five and other wildlife with riverine forests, woodlands, kopjes, and volcanic grassland as your backdrop. Lunch happens back at the lodge during midday, then evening brings dinner back at camp.

- Day 6
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
After breakfast you'll leave the Serengeti heading toward Ngorongoro, spotting wildlife across the plains as you go. A picnic lunch stops you during the journey, and you'll continue past the crater rim before descending to the gate. Your lodge in Karatu sits surrounded by farmland with crater views, where you'll spend the night.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
Breakfast comes first, then you descend 2,000 feet through early morning mists into Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. The crater floor has forests, swamps, lakes, springs, grassland, and sandy areas to explore while you watch for wildlife. You'll head back to the lodge by late afternoon for some rest before dinner.

Landmarks Ngorongoro Crater - Day 8
Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast you'll head southeast, passing the highlands and Karatu district with Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu Village on the route. Scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations appear as you descend the escarpment toward Arusha through the Masai Steppe. You'll reach Arusha for lunch, then it's off to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight.
