    There are a total of 3 travellers booked for the 19 October 2026 departure of the Vietnam: Historic Cities & Halong Bay Cruising tour. They are part of a group of 15, with the remaining 12 travellers booked for both shorter (such as Cambodia: Ancient Ruins & Boat Rides) and longer (Southeast Asia Discovery: Seasides and Street Food) tours.     There is a total of 9 travelers booked in total with 60% of them being female travelers. There are 2 booked on the Vietnam: Historic Cities & Halong Bay Cruising and 7 booked on the Vietnam, Laos & Thailand: Riversides & Railways. The travelers are born between the 1990s & late 2000s, and there is a fairly even distribution across these age groups. About 80% of the travelers are solo. The group consists of North American, European and Oceania travellers

    20 guest booked and confirmed, 70 % of the group is solo travellers, age range is from the 1990s-2000s, 40% is male travellers 60% are female travellers and we have majority European, North America and Oceanic guest traveling with us on this departure date.

    I'd like to clarify the 21 August departure. The tour page says the maximum group size is 18, but you told me that 20 guests are already booked and confirmed, with 6 places remaining. Could you please confirm the actual maximum group size for the 21 August departure?

    The max group size is 18. There are shorter versions of the tour called combos which make the gross number on a tour higher than that but they do not travel all together at the same time as they will be on separate segments of the full tour.

    I'm considering booking the 25 October Vietnam tour, and I'm ready to pay the deposit now in order to take advantage of the current offer. However, I'm still waiting for my visa. I previously contacted G Adventures and was told that if I have to cancel because my visa is not approved, the deposit would be non-refundable but would remain as a lifetime credit for a future G Adventures tour booked through TourRadar. I just want to confirm one thing: would the full amount of the deposit I pay now remain available as lifetime credit, or would only part of it be credited?

    The deposit paid now is non-refundable and should you cancel your tour it will be saved as a lifetime credit that can be used in future.

    We currently have 1 person joined on the tour, but there can be more filling up in the upcoming months. This tour has a mix of solo and grouped travellers that join, it is not possible to guarantee if the departure will just be more solo or grouped travellers. Each tour departure group is a mixture of nationalities, as we allow travellers from all over the globe to book our tours. As the tour is only at the moment with 1 traveller, we cannot at this time advise on any demographics. We could look at this closer to the time of the tour date with more persons booked.

    There is 17 people booked on this departure.
    Yes there is a lot of solo travellers booked on this departure
    There is a lot of British and Americans, a few Italian, Irish and German.
    There are more females than males.
    This is a 18 - 30something tour so there is a lot of travellers in their early and late 20s and a few travellers in their early 30s.

    When you mentioned that there are more female travellers than male travellers, do you mean it's only a slight difference (for example around 60% female and 40% male), or is the difference more significant?
    I completely understand that the group may change before departure, but even an approximate ratio based on the current bookings would be very helpful.

    There are about 65% females and 35% males booked on the tour.
    It's important to note that demographics can change from the time of booking up until departure as people may cancel and others take their place.

    There is only 1 space left on the 5th August departure as the 2nd August departure is fully booked. Travellers booked are in their early to late twenties and a handful in their mid thirties. Majority are solo travellers and there is a good mix of male and female travellers. Most of the travellers are British.

    This tour is a part of our 18-30somethings travel style, which is only available for travellers between the ages of 18 - 39 to book onto. Our other travel styles, such as Classic, Active, National Geographic Journeys, etc., do not have any age restrictions.

    The October 8th departure has 5 request spots. This tour is on request now, which means that we have released the space for our suppliers to use, if someone request the tour, we have to take full payment and our local team will go to every hotel, activity, transfer etc.. and request space, if we are able to get it secured then we will confirm, it usually takes 2 - 4 business days. So it's not guaranteed that's why it's on request.
