Overall, our experience was great and we really enjoyed our excursions and the tour guides. The hotels were also nice and offered great breakfasts. Our only hotel issue was poor Wifi and really noisy traffic at all hours in Ushuaia. Two recommendations you could give to the locally contracted tour companies to make things go more smoothly for future travellers: 1. Both times, our hotel-to-airport transfer pickups arrived 45-60 minutes early compared to the times we were told to expect them. It wasn’t an issue for us as we happened to be ready both times, but it could be an issue for others. 2. On excursion days, the varying time for hotel pick-up could be better explained. The first morning, we waited nearly 30minutes past our the pick up time we had been given; we thought the shuttle had forgotten us. I think it would be better to clearly communicate to travellers ahead of time that the shuttle is picking up travellers at multiple hotels and thus individual pick-up times could be up to 20-30 minutes after the time you give them.Show more
