This tour is ran by a group leader and local tour guides and currently has 5 confirmed bookings. We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings.

I have a question about the 'Bali intro 9 days' trip. It includes dolphin spotting. I have read many of these tours are not sustainable, as they are chasing the dolphins with many boats at a time. However, there is a sustainable tour at 'Lovina Dolphin tour'. Which type of tour is included in this trip? the sustainable one, or the one with many boats chasing the dolphins?

The animals safety is our priority and we definitely do not chase the dolphins, I have personally done this tour and the guides were very respectful to the dolphins in their natural habitat :)

Is it okay to bring a suitcase around 25 kg on the tour? Will it be a problem if it's more than the recommended 20 kg?

This shouldn't be too much of an issue, as you are never having to carry your suitcase for long periods. The only time that it may be a bit tricky is when you are getting on/off the boat to and from Gili Trawangan as it can get a little bit crowded around the pier. However, the boat staff are very helpful and will help with getting your suitcase on and off the boat.

Why does this trip have a service fee and the others do not? Can it be waived?

Sorry what service fee do you mean? I am unsure what you are referring too, so sorry about that.

Are these trips suitable for older age groups? My daughter is 22, I am an active 65, and my husband is 67.

Unfortunately the majority of our group members are their 20s and 30s so our Bali Intro tour wouldn't be suitable for you, but we could certainly look into getting all 3 of you booked onto our Bali Experience trip which is mainly for people aged 18-45 with travellers in their 50's and 60's who join us. As long as you're aware that the trips do have a physical element and there are some planned nights out, but these nights out are voluntary.

The trip combined seeing the popular sights with more niche activities including fire ceremonies at the temple and samurai experiences. For the tour I was given Caro as my local tour guide leader and she was fantastic. As someone with food allergies she took the time to help me at every restaurant with conversing to the staff in ensuring my food was safe, in which it was throughout. Caro was extremely knowledgeable of Japan and shared this throughout my stay, which enriched the tour further, and made it very engaging. As a leader she is a very calming person to be around and makes you feel comfortable at every opportunity, whilst also ensuring that you are pushed out of your comfort zone so you have fun!!! She had such a positive energy all the time, it set the tone for the whole group. I’d pick my next tour based off where she was guiding! The accommodation was basic but fine, as expected. Loved the amount of included activities! I’ve done tours where they immediately sell you $300 of activities, but this tour included everything you needed for a busy day.
