V was able to answer any questions promptly whether it was about the culture, recommended activities and restaurants to rescuing us from Bali belly ?. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour leader, having gone from strangers to family in 9 days. Safe to say I will definitely be travelling again ❤️

The tour is very smooth from start to finish and there is no way you could do as many activate and see as many places in the same amount of time without INTRO's planning and relationships they have with the local operators. Our guide was so friendly and made the trip so much more fun and easy having someone sort out all the day to day bookings for you. Its great fun travelling with 20 other like minded people and a great way to make friends for life. Definitely give it a go if you are on the fence, won't regret this epic trip!

Khao Sok in Thailand what such a stunning place to stay, the floating bungalows were incredible and loved tubing around the waters. Such an epic night out at the full moon beach party dancing the night away with my amazing group till the early hours.
Our guide in Vietnam was just awesome, Sammy made everyone feel so welcome and at ease whilst having the time of our lives. From exploring Ninh Binh by bike and boat, to kayaking around Halong Bay and partying on a boat and private island, to catching catfish with your hands in the Mekong Delta...Intro Travel have thought about everything to make the trip as special as it is!
The final stop Cambodia was equally as incredible with our leader Will. He was always keen to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves, having a good boogie and was very willing for a good sing song. Koh Rong is definitely a place to remember with the whitest of white sands, crystal clear seas, snorkelling stops, beach volleyball and treehouse bungalows. Essentially it’s the picture on Instagram that you think are 100% filtered but in real life it is that damn beautiful!
Thank you so much Intro Travel, Sammy and Will for making my experience travelling Asia so memorable and epic! I’ve met friends for life and made so many extraordinary memories! I would 100% recommend Intro Travel and their Epic Asia tour to anyone who is considering travelling, just go for it because you won’t regret it!

I'm now at the end of the 12 day tour and can't believe what we have seen and done in less than two weeks! There are so many activities included, many that you would never do if you were travelling solo. The accommodation is great and even includes a homestay in cute little bungalows in Ninh Binh. Will was a great tour leader, with a good balance of being your friend but also being professional. We were also lucky to have Kelly as a trainee tour leader who was so caring towards everyone and great fun. She will make a great tour leader!
Overall, the tour is very full on with long days but it's worth it if you want to see Vietnam in a short space of time :)

From the airport pickup to help arranging a taxi to the airport at the end, each moment was planned incredibly well and everyone was able to relax and truly enjoy all that Vietnam has to offer. If you are nervous about traveling or going alone, don’t be! Everything is organized for you and your group leaders make everyone feel so comfortable. Will and Kelly are both absolutely amazing leaders, they are so much fun to be around and so knowledgeable. From biking through rice paddies in Ninh Binh to the cooking class to kayaking in Ha Long Bay, you will enjoy every moment!
Love doing group tours, you get to do / see things you wouldn’t necessarily get to on your own with a great group of people (and tour leader!) awesome itinerary.

But apart from the amazing places, experiences and activities will be the memories of the wonderful people I shared them with. Being with a group of people you care about makes travel that much more special. Lastly, a special mention to the fabulous and personable tour leaders of the trip, Will in Vietnam and Nathan in Cambodia, who went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were taken care of. They made each of us feel special and are truly a credit to the company. Given the opportunity I would most assuredly travel with Intro again, they definitely have my highest recommendation.

I had high expectations for this tour and intro travel surpassed them all. From the moment of booking, communication has been seamless from their office. I would say the tour offers great value for money as it includes many activities, comfortable transport and some meals. It is a packed itenary so be aware there isn't huge amounts of free time. I was blown away by the quality of accommodation used, we stayed in some luxurious places. It was wonderful to have such knowledgable guides in Sam and Will leading precedings, they are a credit to Intro.

My favourite days were on the Oasis Bay party cruise, Freedom Island (private island for a day in Ha Long Bay) and in Hoi An. Both group leaders Will and Sam were great, and helped to make it quick and easy to get to know everyone.

Everything from nice hotels to lovely bungalows in the nature. Also everything was taken care of, which is very nice, so you can just enjoy everything. It was a lot to do in 12 days, but it was so nice to go to all these different places. Our leader, Will, was amazing. Very helpful, enthustiastic and funny. We had Sam as guide as well, and he was a very nice guide to be. I would highly recommend this tour. You meet great new people, go on homestays, sees a lot of beautiful nature and eat a lot of delicious food! I sure would travel with introtravel again!

We visited the touristy places, but also unique places - the homestays were great. And freedom island was amazing. It was really easy being on a tour like this, you just had to follow the group. The biggest decisions would be about what food you wanted to eat, our great guide Will had already chosen some great restaurants. He had even made deals with most of them before we arrived. Will was amazing, he made sure that everyone felt save and had a great trip. He clearly knew the places we visited very well, he had lots of recommendations for when we had time for our own and generally he had been so fun to be with - he really is a party starter!
We were lucky having Sam (Samuel Davey) who were on a trial-trip, as an extra guide. He was excellent too. He was great at talking to us, I felt like he saw us and was very good at checking up on everyone - making sure everyone was having a good time and were safe. Both during the day and different activities and while enjoying nightlife.
Service regarding onwards travel was really good too - we were going to Bali without having anything planned and Will sent us a long list of stuff to do there. I can definitely recommend Intro Travel, our trip was excellent!

Will and Sammy were brilliant. The tour was very well organised and ran smoothly. The itinerary was spot on, there was a mixture of everything experiencing the cities, rural life and the beautiful beaches of Koh Rong. So many activities along the way allowing you to learn about Cambodia’s history and to experience the culture whilst having so much fun along the way. Kayaking in Kampot and the boat trip day on Koh Rong being my personal favourites!
The accommodation was spot on and the food was incredible- Will had some great recommendations!

My 21 day trip was an amazing experience, and I loved the time I spent in both Vietnam and Cambodia. Both countries were equally as interesting as they were beautiful and our guide Will really helped …My 21 day trip was an amazing experience, and I loved the time I spent in both Vietnam and Cambodia. Both countries were equally as interesting as they were beautiful and our guide Will really helped bring them to life and helped me to immerse myself and gain an understanding of the culture I could never have achieved travelling solo.
Furthermore, I have found whilst travelling that the atmosphere and people you travel with are just as important as the destinations themselves. So once again my thanks must go out to our leader Will who was brilliant at creating an open and friendly culture that had everyone feeling like they’d known each other years within a matter of days. I strongly believe that every member of the tour would agree that Will was instrumental in the atmosphere and enjoyment of the trip.
With this being my second trip with intro, I am now sure that the brilliant time I had on my first trip was not just a fluke, and I could not recommend them more highly to anyone else looking to book a group tour holiday, and I can’t wait to travel with them again and see where they expand to next!

Will our group leader showed us all the unique and interesting spots of each place we visited. Food, accommodation and transport was faultless, i also felt very safe and well looked after with Will and Ben and the rest of the group. The diverse set of people you meet as part of the group is fantastic. Vietnam is truly one the most interesting and beautiful places in the world. IntroTravel Vietnam led by Will is amazing. You start off in Hanoi, a crazy little scooter town with no understanding of why they have zebra crossings, ‘ [expletives removed] shirts’ everywhere, and the amazing Train Street (a must visit in your spare time). Make sure to try the Egg Coffee and Custard Apple, and go all out on the Rickshaw Challenge, it’s the most fun.
Next onto Ha Long Bay...the reason I went to Vietnam in the first place! The weather wasn’t great when we were there but it didn’t dampen my spirits and I was still in awe for the full 3 days we experienced this. Eating dinner on the boat forgetting where you were and then looking out the window to the view of the breathtaking limestone mountains was so surreal! Paradise Island is a little gem...make sure to get on a kayak and explore the various shipwrecks dotted around and the floating villages.
Next on to Ninh Bin. I’d never heard of this place but it soon became one my favourite spots. Like Ha Long Bay but on land. The trek up to the Dragon Viewpoint is tough on a hot day so don’t set off too quickly!! But it’s so worth the view from the top (and the great photo ops). The little boat ride through the mountains is so nice, plus keep your eyes peeled for the elusive monkeys, we managed to spot a couple on our trip, much to Wills dismay! Ha.
Next onto the overnight train down to Da Nang. This was the part I was most dreading but as soon as you realise it looks just like the Hogwarts Express all fears float away. All that was missing was some chocolate frogs!
A short trip from the station and you hit Hoi An, my absolute fave place!! A cutesy little canal side town with lanterns hanging everywhere! Here you will try your hand at crab fishing, take part in an awesome cooking class with the cutest little Vietnamese chef that ever did exist, and try the most amazing Banh Mi you will ever taste in your life (I’m still having cravings!) You also have spare time to have some tailoring done, or make your own lantern (I did this and loved every second).
A short flight down South and you arrive in Ho Chi Minh, the capital city and also the capital of fake handbags!! A visit to the indoor market is a must if you are travelling straight home afterwards, just be sure to haggle hard!
From here you journey out to discover the Cu Chi Tunnels that were used in the war, and try your hand at Catfishing in the Mekong.
Then on to Cambodia!! In what I can only say was the most plush coach I have ever been on in my life to cross the border.
The first day was spent learning the history of Cambodia at the Phnom Penh at the prison and killing fields and I am so grateful to Intro for including this in their tour and not skipping over it for the ‘nicer things’. It was harrowing and eye opening but a must see for those visiting the country.
Next on to Kampot and a visit to a pepper plantation and cooking class in the most picturesque spot! The Cambodian food is some of the best I have tasted, and here you get to cook the best of it! Plus you get to test out some delicious...and extremely fiery peppercorns! On top of that you kayak down an amazing palm lined canal, perfect for the insta!
Next on to Koh Rong, an idyllic white sand island off the coast of Cambodia. Paired with an incredible sunset and included massage, this place was a heavenly chillout spot for a couple of days!
Finally on to Siem Reap and the reason I came to Cambodia...Angkor Wat!!!!!! I expected it to be like something out of the Jungle Book and it didn’t disappoint...especially when the monkeys arrived! You start early for sunrise and visit the 3 main temples...Angkor Wat itself, Bayon Temple (which was my personal fave) and Ta Prohm from the Tomb Raider which has been taken over by trees. Loved every second of this day!! Make sure your camera is fully charged and that you have a photo buddy on hand to snap the perfect pics (Alan I give praise to you for this!! Thankyou).
And then in a blink of an eye the trip was over and I was off to Thailand with my newfound friends travelling far and wide.
I cannot express how beneficial it is to do a group tour. The fear of meeting new people is gone as soon as you meet your new group, and instead you have this family network around you that you couldn’t imagine having done it without! Big love to everyone who was on my tour!!

The amount of activities you do is awesome - looking back at photos at the end of the trip I keep remembering things we did that I forgot because we did so much. It has a perfect mix of activities and chill time. From cycling through the beautiful countryside of Ninh Binh and climbing up the view point and going on the local row boats through the dramatic limestone mountains all in one day! To chilling on a the white sand beach in Koh Rong and soaking up the sun.
The best part is that all these activities and the unreal itinerary is all organised and planned to perfection for you. So, you don’t need to organise anything. You can just make sure you are there at the meet time and ensure that you will have a great, fun packed day knowing that you are doing the best things in that destination and country.
Having a group leader there all the time and getting involved makes the trip unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked any more of our group leader Will. He was knowledgeable, very fun, always happy, very organised and professional. Highly recommend this tour specific tour to anyone as there is something for everyone. With all the accomodation pre-booked and arranged, all the transport sorted and an array of local knowledge from the tour guide, Will Anholt, who was an absolute legend, as to where the best places to eat are, where the best place to have a well deserved drink is, and where to see all of the hidden little gem's that most tourists would never even know exist was great and very stress-free.
Would deffinetley reccomend to anyone looking to see the real Vietnam, you will not be disappointed.

Each day was equally or more amazing than the previous ones, there was always something different to do and best of all it was a totally immersive experience in the local culture as well as being up close and personal with the people who live in each place.
It's hard to choose which city or activity was my favorite because each one was amazing, from kayaking in Ha Long Bay, walking through the streets of Hanoi, to the bike rides in Ninh Binh, catfish fishing in the mud, among many other things, each activity left me in awe.
The transportation was everything from small boats to airplanes!
Definitely a tour that I highly recommend and if you get Will as a group leader, be sure you will have a great time, he will help you have a better experience, he will recommend you what to do, what to eat and he is a very kind and funny person. You will simply end up loving him.

I definitely don’t think I would have felt the same about Asia if I travelled alone, which I was planning originally, as it’s pretty crazy, unorganised and people try to rip you off. But with this tour and the help of our group leader Will it eases you in to a very different culture so you get to really enjoy it. He was always there to help and that we were all doing the best things here for us to maximise our enjoyment here in a short time. There is no way I can pick my favourite place or activity over the past 21 days as there is soooo much that you see and do - I can not believe the amount we have done in a short time. Which is why this has been the best experience I’ve ever done. The only bad thing about this trip is that it makes you want to quit your job and go traveling haha

But overall I guarantee it will be worth doing the Vietnam and Cambodia Intro tour. It’s amazing life experience and I think it’s so important for everyone to travel and this tour is a great way to do it in our busy lives. You can literally go traveling to 2 amazing countries Vietnam and Cambodia in 21 days holiday which is crazy.
I was nervous about coming all the way to South East Asia by myself but I don’t know what I was worried about. You get a group leader that picks you up at the airport and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you get out the airport. So big shout out to Will our guide for making me comfortable and confident in a totally different culture. He encouraged me to try all the amazing food and get involved into the rich culture which I’m so glad he did. I don’t think I’ve ever have been confident enough by myself to try these things and get involved any where near as much without Will’s help. This tour has actually broadened my horizons and even made me more confident about travel and probably even myself. If anyone actually reads this, then do it!

The tour in general was very good, nice mix of culture and free time. Will also created a group message, where he would put reminders for us about where we had to be and when.

Having come to the end of my first Intro Travel trip and the first venture into Cambodia for them, the entire tour surpassed my already high expectations of the company and Cambodia as a country, whic…Having come to the end of my first Intro Travel trip and the first venture into Cambodia for them, the entire tour surpassed my already high expectations of the company and Cambodia as a country, which has long held a position as one of my must visit destinations. Even before the start of the tour I managed to present them with a delayed arrival and unscheduled overnight stay in China but the team were brilliant in maintaining constant communication with me, banishing any worries I may have had.
Having researched a number of Cambodia tours the lure of the Intro Travel choice was the immersiveness into the culture, the included activities and experiences together with relaxation and free time.
Knowing a bit about Cambodia's recent history and Pol Pots reign over the country, I was particularly looking forward to the visit to the Killing Fields and S21 Prison. Because of the tough subject matter having this at the start of the tour meant getting the tough stuff out of the way first. Wandering around the locations where 300 people were tortured and killed each day under a regime which eventually killed 3 million people on a mass genocide unrivalled in recent history, it was sombre, brutal, utterly heartbreaking yet fascinating. It was a very poignant day being there and a real eye opener for many on the tour unaware or the atrocities that had taken place.
The visit to the floating villages in Siem Reap provided a valuable cultural insight into how the hundreds of families living there go about their daily lives on the river. We were given the chance to meet with two families in their homes, seeing first hand what it is like and able to ask questions. Invaluable.
On then to the main reason why people know of and visit Cambodia, Angkor Wat. 4am start to catch the sunrise but the clouds were not playing ball, despite this nothing could deter our enthusiasm. The temple complex is monstrous in size but you don't quite appreciate the sheer scale until you are driving around from temple to temple in Tuk Tuks! Each of the three temples we entered varied so much in size and architecture but each with its own beauty.
If all of this so far has not convinced you that Cambodia Intro is the tour for you then how about the stunning white sand beaches of Koh Rong Island where we witnessed some of the most stunning sunsets I've seen, went snorkeling and fishing and were treated to beachside massages. The kayaking at Kampot and a sunset tour down the river.
Another amazing experience and highlight was the Khmer cooking class where we were taught to make 3 Cambodian signature dishes Lok Lak, fish Amok and vegetable curry using ingredients freshly sourced from the local market that morning. The food in Cambodia is some of the best I have tasted and now I can put to the test everything I learnt in the cooking class.
The tour incorporated a number of destinations within Cambodia, allowing us to experience rural, city and beach living with accommodation ranging from rustic beach bungalows, river side hotel, an overnight sleeper bus to a trendy hostel, each perfectly matching the destination. Intro Travel have extensively researched the accommodation, food, culture and activities and put it all together into this one outstanding tour package.
Finally, nothing would have made this tour as unforgettable as it was without the hard work and endless enthusiasm of our tour leaders, Alan, Matt and Will. From the very start the enjoyment they got from working the tour was palpable, they were professional in briefing the group each day on the activities, answering any questions we had, resolving any issues that cropped up but mostly it felt like being on holiday with a group of your closest friends. The energy emanating from them for the 10 days hugely contributed to everyone's enjoyment of the tour and I cannot thank them enough for the amazing time I have had in Cambodia. They felt seamlessly part of the group rather than the tour leaders, enjoying all the experiences alongside us as if it were the first time they were doing them and partying as hard as the rest of us when it came to it, especially Will whose energy to dance all night was unbridled. I am already trying to decide on my next Intro Travel tour but I had the most immense fun on this trip I would happily do this one all over again tomorrow!

I started out by partying with near-strangers in Hanoi and went on to form unbreakable bonds on the 5-Star backpacker boat cruise in Ha Long Bay, survive and thrive on the overnight train to Hoi An, cry laughing as my friend flipped her pancake into the river during our Vietnamese cooking class, spend endless sunny hours on the beautiful beaches of Koh Rong, and tear up as I said my final goodbyes in Siem Reap. These past 21 days have been truly unforgettable.
Also, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the incredible experience we had with our group leader, Will. From the starting moments of this tour, it was obvious that Will’s passion, attentiveness, and charisma would be bright additions to an already faultless itinerary. He made a noticeable effort to get to know every single one of us from the beginning and managed to strike the perfect balance of being responsible, knowledgeable, cheeky, and fun (not to mention he did it with a continuous smile on his face for 21 straight days...not easy!!!!). He really loves what he does and it shows; he’s born for it. Will, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being an exceptional leader and friend—this experience wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Nearly impossible to choose my favourite of the many places we visited. Sun sets in Koh Rong were definitely a highlight though. Would highly recommend doing a tour with Intro Travel!

We visited more destinations then I would ever have visted if I were travelling on my own. It is clear that intro take lots of care in creating their itinerary's. I have made so many lovely friends in my group that I hope to see again in the future. The highlights of the trip for me were the killing fields and the prison in Pnomh Penh. Koh Rong provided some much needed relaxation and chill time as well as some beautiful sunsets and scenery. The accommodation in Siam Reap was perfect for the group, the food was great and the place was very modern and clean. Angkor Wat had some amazing architecture and we learnt more about the culture. Our tour guides made everyone felt safe and looked after at all times and also made sure everyone was smiling and enjoying themselves. This has been one of the best trips I have ever been on!

From the walking tour of Hanoi, jumping off a party boat and swimming in Ha Long Bay or the pool in Hoi An, staying with families in Ninh Binh and on the Mekong, to partying the night away in Ho Chi Min. Vietnam was an amazing experiance combining culture with the ability to relax or party when you wanted to.
Moving into Cambodia and we saw the much smaller but equally frantic cities. The more quiet Kampot and Koh Rong Island gave time to relax and take in some much needed relaxation before hitting Siem Reap for an amazing boat trip through the floating village and sunset over the lake. In the closing days we also visited the stunning Angkor Wat at sunrise.
Will was able to enthusiastically involve the whole group and encouraged everyone to have fun without pushing boundaries and making anyone uncomfortable. I will definitely be traveling with Intro again.

Both Matt and will were superb guides; they were friendly, informative and fun! The itinerary was extremely well planned and I feel that I have experienced everything I would like to in both countries. My favourite parts were Hoi An in Vietnam and Koh Rong in Cambodia. The homestays were all excellent and made for clean and different accommodation. My favourite accommodation and food that was provided to us on the trip was in the Mekong Delta. Intro travel is a fantastic company and I would not hesitate to go on another one of their trips and would 100% recommend them to anyone. The food has all been fantastic and when I felt poorly then everyone was so nice and supportive. The balance between culture, chill, exploring and drinking is spot on and whatever age you are, I believe that you would always feel comfortable and supported.

Kayaking through the beautiful islands was incredible followed but a great night on the boat. Also visiting the beautiful town of Hoi An is magical. Drifting down the river setting off the lanterns is a wonderful experience. If possible definitely get the custom made clothing, so worth the money! The trip is very well organised, all travel and accommodation planned perfectly, which is hugely down to our fantastic leader Will. Cannot praise him enough for the effort he put in to make sure everything ran smoothly, made sure everyone was involved and his genuine care that we were all having the best time. If he is your leader, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience!
Just want to also mention Intro Travel as a company have been fantastic. After such good experiences with them, I’ve also now booked onto Sri Lanka Intro in December.

Each day was equally or more amazing than the previous ones, there was always something different to do and best of all it was a totally immersive experience in the local culture as well as being up close with the people who live in each place.
It's hard to choose which city or activity was my favorite because each one was amazing, from kayaking in Ha Long Bay, walking through the streets of Hanoi, to the bike rides in Ninh Binh, catfish fishing in the mud, among many other things, each activity left me impressed.
The transportation was everything from small boats to airplanes!
Definitely a tour that I highly recommend and if you get Will as a group leader, be sure you will have a great time, he will help you have a better experience, he will recommend you what to do, what to eat and he is a very kind and funny person. You will simply end up loving him.

The 12 day intro travel tour promised an excellent method in which to indulge in a plethora of activities throughout the country within a concise time frame. Further to this was the opportunity to meet like-minded travellers who I could create friendships with and enjoy everything the tour had to offer.
I can honestly say I was not disappointed! The food, accommodation, company and transport were top tier. Most importantly the activities were exceptional, well developed, fun and engaging experiences that were all worth partaking in. A few highlights were Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh due to the surreal beauty and range of activities on offer.
Finally, our tour guide Will’s diligent hard work to make the trip run as smoothly as possible made the whole experience stress free in a country that is likely difficult to navigate as an individual traveller. You can really tell that Will and Intro Travel have built lasting relationships with the locals they collaborate with to provide this trip as well as improve even the little details for the benefit of the traveller.

There’s a really good mix of everything on the 12 day Vietnam Intro with chill time, nights out, outdoor activities, cultural experiences and loads of good food. Also Will our tour guide I feel found the right balance of giving interesting facts and info but not talking for ages to bore everyone. He has obviously thought about his role a lot which makes him a great guide. He is great fun on nights out but not forcing anyone to drink or anything and also promotes the chill time which is needed to not burn out. There is quite a bit of traveling on this trip but it is definitely worth it as you will see so much in a short time. As long as you make the most of the chill times it is not too full on. For me it was so nice to pay for the majority of the main costs of the trip before hand like all the activities and know they are all included when you are here. This makes it so much easier to budget and you really don’t have to spend too much while you’re here which is nice. And overall it’s very good value for money for what’s included. It’s a great tour, give it a go

Our leader Will was an amazing leader with lots of knowledge and good energy and made sure everyone was always happy and enjoying themselves. He was also very organised so the group always knew what was going on and what times we had to be in certain places etc! Will ensured everything on the trip ran really smoothly which definitely helped make the trip so enjoyable!! I would highly recommend the trip to anyone who was interested in going to Vietnam as i had an incredible unforgettable experience!

Will, the guide, never pressured you in to any of the nights out if you didn’t want to and gave you other options which was great. He also got us involved in the culture of Vietnam, which is what I came for, and it felt like he was showing us his Vietnamese friends throughout the country which means you can get involved with them a lot too. I think you get to see more of the culture as you are with someone who lives here all the time. The people here are so friendly and have such a rich culture and the tour let you learn and get involved in this. I loved Hoi An as it was so pretty and getting tailor made clothes was so fun - Will recommended an amazing place for this. His recommendations overall were great which shows his knowledge of Vietnam was great. Make sure to pick this tour

Plus some super relaxed chilled hammock time like on freedom island in ha long bay and getting cheap massages in Hoi An. This is just a quick example that there is something for everyone on this tour. You are guaranteed to find something you love in Vietnam and on Vietnam Intro. Our guide always gave you the option for all these activities so if there is something you like less then you don’t have to do it like some tour you’re kind of forced into. If you love that kind of activities you get to make the most of and Will shows you how to maximise your fun doing it.And if you don’t want to chill he will always give you extra fun activities and exploring to do in that given area and he will the majority of the time get involved in these - as Will has so much energy! This radiates onto the group and I don’t know how he stays so positive and high tempo all the time for every tour, I could not do it myself.

Still knowing that I was being taken to the best places in Vietnam. Our group leader Will, is very good at his job and his knowledge of Vietnam is very wide. He keeps the group in high spirits at all times, definitely go with Will as he makes it so much more fun. He always keeps everyone entertained and has little games ect for all occasions and makes the whole group gel so well no matter how different we all are. I loved Hoi An the most, it is so pretty and the lanterns are so nice. The cooking class we did in Hoi An was so much fun and was my favourite day. We also went on the river and released lanterns and went to the markets. This topped off a perfect day for me. This is true for many of the activities on the tour. It’s a really good way to ensure you are doing the best activities and experiences in Vietnam as they have been tried and tested by hundreds of different people who have done the tour. I also loved literally just being told by Will to meet at this time and him organising all these fantastic activities and transport to and from, and all I had to do was enjoy myself and soak in the culture. It also helps doing the tour with a group that you get to know really well. It makes it much more fun and I will stay in contact with these people for sure. If you’re unsure about coming to Vietnam and doing this tour then just do it! I promise you won’t regret it

I loved cycling through the beautiful scenery in Ninh Binh, going on the rowing boats and up the view point - which has the most incredible views I’ve seen! I would never have been able to fit all this in to one day by myself and it was such a fun packed day. Our tour guide Will knew the itinerary like the back of his hand which made it go so smoothly. If there there any little issues, which is inevitably in a place like Vietnam, he was very clam and dealt with them very effectively. He always gives you lots of options for extra activities in your free time outside the arranged activities. Which for someone like me was perfect as I like to do as much as I can in a short time. I couldn’t believe how much we did fit in! That is the beauty of being on a tour is that it forces you to get up and go exploring every day. Looking back at the 12 days we have done so many incredible thing and I really feel like I saw the best things in Vietnam in 12 days which is crazy! I’m traveling alone and travelled a lot of SE Asia but didn’t have time to plan Vietnam myself so decided to book this tour. I’m so glad I did!
As someone who mainly travels independently I always thought tours were a waste of money if you can just do it yourself but I was very wrong. It probably works out being cheaper given how much is included and the better prices they can get than me booking things alone.
I think the best example of this is the boat cruise in ha long bay. The cruise we went one was insanse and definitely one of the best ones there and I would have no idea of how to find this myself. This is true for so many things across the tour. They have obviously been carefully selected to suit all people on the tour. Which would take loads of time and effort to find yourself. Plus some things I would have never have found, like the home stay in Ninh Binh - which was so beautiful and a great way to immerse in the culture.
You can relax to know you’re in good hands with Intro travel, and Will our group leader, knowing that they are taking you to the best places, restaurants and bars and doing the best activities. Will also made the dynamic of the group consistently fun and upbeat. I don’t think I’ve laughed for a whole 12 days before. Thanks Intro Travel and Will for being a legend

This is mainly because of the very well thought out itinerary, how smoothly the tour runs in a very unorganised country, a wide range of awesome activities and having an quality group leader. I love how Intro Travel run their tours and the way they do things - it’s a great company to see a country with and I think the best in Vietnam. We had an awesome group of 20 people with a wide range of ages, nationalities and different expectations from Vietnam and somehow the tour suits all these people as I know everyone had an amazing time on the tour. I do think this is massively down to having a really great group leader, Will Anholt. He gets involved with everyone on the group and tailors the already quality tour to suit everyone to ensure that everyone has a once in a life time traveling experience in Vietnam. For anyone who is weighing up between a few tours, chose this one! From my experience of many different tours I know how well this one is done and is as good as tours get

I’ve only ever travelled independently, this is my first tour I’ve done, I can’t believe I’ve never done it before. It is such a fun, hassle free way to travel. I can also garentee I would have ended up spending more overall if I travelled alone, even though it seems like a lump of money when you book it from home it is actually totally worth the money. As you don’t need to spend much out here as it’s all sorted for you already. Will was my group leader and he was fantastic. There are so many little things that he does that probably goes unseen by most poeple that make the tour run so much smoother and maximises the enjoyment for the whole group. The tour and Will are very organised and evidently very well thought out. If you totally want to relax and not have to organise anything other than your flight there then book this tour! It’s so much fun!!

All the places were super beautiful, the food was also very nice, however I think that could be improved. The accommodation was nice in general, but I didn't like much the last one in Ho Chi Min, as the location was not so pretty. I don't ride bike usually, and Will found the way I could join the activities, which is a plus as is always important to consider any condition. This is the first time I do a solo travel and join a tour and I really enjoyed the experience so I might do another one next year for sure.

The boat trip in ha long bay and going to freedom island was absolutely insane! Couldn’t believe how amazing the boat was and I would never have known to book this boat trip myself. This is the same for so many more activities and places we visited, I would never have found them myself. It’s so obvious that these places and activities have been thoroughly thought out and there is nothing I would change on the tour. This is helped so much by Will our group leader. He is such a legend and kept me laughing the whole way through the trip. He’s very organised and makes travelling so easy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of coming to Vietnam

The fact that we had viewed so many sites and took part in so…Was thoroughly suprised and delighted with my experience in Vietnam with intro travel seeing as this was my first time in south east Asia. The fact that we had viewed so many sites and took part in so many activities in just 12days was just ridiculous. it must be said that this tour would of not been anywhere near as good if it wasn’t for our group leader will, he not only made the days packed with activities and sites but really showed us the other side of Vietnam which I feel we wouldn’t of seen if we travelled alone, we had great nights out and humbling experiences I really enjoyed the Mekong delta staying in the home stay which saw us learn local Vietnamese weaving and also had us out locally cat fishing which we then had for dinner! I could not recommend this tour enough to anyone who wants see Vietnam and I will definitely be looking into experiencing other country’s with intro travel.

The itinerary was jam packed with some amazing activities, awesome nights out and good level of chill time. There is absolutely no way I would have fitted this much into 12 days if I was traveling alone. I also would never have found some of the amazing places we went to or the cool bars and resturants. For example the homestay in ninh Binh was absolutely insanely beautiful and we got to immerse ourselves in the culture - it's very difficult to find and very few other tourist get to experience this incredible place. Will, our group leader, turned it from a great trip to the best holiday I've been on. He has a vast knowledge of Vietnam, the culture and how to maximize our enjoyment during the tour. He has an awesome sense of humour which keeps spirits high across the whole group all the time. Being on the tour with Will means that everything runs so smoothly and you can really enjoy Vietnam for the incredible country it is hassle free. Thanks Intro and Will!!! My favourite has to be Hoi An! When I was there I celebrated my birthday - Will is such a top bloke and organised such a great night out to celebrate that even featured confetti cannons and indoor fireworks.
The whole tour from start to finish has been amazing and has made me want to explore Asia further and that has been down to Introtravel and Will. Can't wait to book my next trip!

I think that it’s great that the company uses a large variety of different transportation services to move around, for instance the overnight train allowed me to see the natural scenery and beautiful landscapes if the country. Finally, my tour guide Will Anholt, has made this trip extremely enjoyable and memorable for me. He has a vast amount of knowledge about the areas we visited whether it be the history or the best bars or food to try. As it was my first experience using the company I didn’t know what to expect, but can confidently say that I will be recommending the company to anyone that is thinking of travelling to Asia.

As a solo traveller I was slightly apprehensive about travelling alone before hand however Will (group leader) helped put that thought at ease from the moment that I met him at the airport!!
Not only was he extremely informative about Vietnam, but his amazing rapport with the locals helped the trip go as smoothly as possible. The best part of the trip for me was halong bay and freedom island both of which were out of this world.
To anyone that is deciding which company to travel with I would highly recommend intro travel and Will!!

My favourite nature-related stops were Freedom Island where you could swim from one island to the other, as well as Ninh Binh (lots of outdoor activities, e.g. cycling through the Vietnamese rice fields). My favourite town is definitely Hoi An with its lovely lights. Will (ya sexy b***h :D), our tour guide, was always in a good mood and clearly passed that on to all tour members. He was not only generally prepared, but happy to answer ever more questions. You could tell he’s lived in Vietnam for a while and we went to many insider places which I wouldn’t have found by myself!

It’s so much more fun traveling with 20 other people the whole time and you never feel alone. Will our Group Leader made the tour even more fun with his high energy levels. He has a great knowledge of Vietnam and has evidently immersed himself into the culture of Vietnam a lot. This makes it easy for us to also get involved with the locals that are his friends. I absolutely loved the homestay in Ninh Binh. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been and there is no way I would have found it myself. The boat in ha long bay was so much fun too. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a bit nervous about travelling alone!

Will was a great tour guide who was well organised, had lots of local knowledge and had great dancing skills. My group was a fairly large group of around 20, however was diversed in terms of characters and full of solo travellers like myself. Was able to make friends very quickly. The tour itself I was very impressed with. We stayed in a mixture of hotels and hostels which were of a really high standard. Towels and Hot Water every night which was a bonus compared to other third world countries. The activities were well organised with my favourite being Paradise Island and the cooking class in Da Nang. Thank you Will for being a great tour guide and would highly recommend the trip to anyone who is wanting an adventure holiday. Hope to be on another tour soon, but would love for Intro Travel to create a India/China version!

The tour involved a huge amount of activities with the sense of having been carefully picked to produce a balanced pallette to accomodate all tastes, whilst keeping energy and enthusiasm high over the tour.
A particular highlight was the stay on freedom island - a gorgeous secluded beach spanning the gap between two limestones mountains in Ha Long Bay national park.
Our tour guide Will was very very good. He was very professional, fun, exciting, inclusive, patient, helpful with great shape cutting abilities. He was very good at ensuring everyone felt involved and part of the group, and he put alot of effort into advising my onward travel to Java. I would absolutely support an award for tour guide of the year.

Once upon a time on September 4th, a group of 21 people met at dusk in Hanoi. From that night onwards, there were going to have incredible moments in different places all over Vietnam. They shared wonderful experiences, from dancing the night away on a magical cruise in Halong Bay, to enjoying the most breathtaking view from the Dragon Viewpoint, to cooking traditional dishes close to Hoi An.
As the end came quicker than expected, we will all return to our next destinations, leaving a piece of our hearts in Vietnam with our knight in shining armor, Will - the master or organization and beer enjoyment.

This is my fourth intro tour after Oz, Thailand and Bali and has become one of my favourite. These tours are great for meeting other solo travellers like myself and we had a very diverse group. We were very lucky with the weather being that it didn’t rain and was just the temperature. The tour it self was very well organised by Will who had a lot of knowledge, recommendations and connections. Tasted some very different food which luckily my stomach was able to handle! The accommodation was a mixture of hostels and hotels however they had been throughly researched and were of a great standard. Hot showers, towels and plugs every night made a great bonus, compared to some of the other trips I’ve previously done. Overall had a great trip and would highly recommend. Thank you Will, and hope to be on another Intro Travel group soon! (India or China would be a great future recommendation).

If possible, they chose the least touristy option; e.g. we took a different route than all the other over-tourist boats in Halong Bay and we stayed on a private island so we could fully enjoy nature. Also, Will gave us a taste of the nightlife in Ha noi, Hoi An and Ho chi minch - was fun. But on other nights we were able to enjoy nature and tranquility in homestays which was also really blissful. My favorite place by out spot was the one in Ninh Binh, sleeping in a bungalow by a small lake overlooking the giant limestone cliffs. Overall the trip was a great experience, not only because of beauty of Vietnam but also because of the new people I met and of course not forgetting the great Vietnamese food!

The trip is fantastic. It includes very almost everything I would want to do in Vietnam. The accommodation is better than I expected. There was a variety of hotels, hostels and home stays, all with fantastic facilities, fast WiFi, a hot shower and a comfy bed. The places we were taken to eat when meals weren’t included were well thought out and included a range of food at very decent prices. All included food was brilliant. I enjoyed all the activities, I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite. The days have been so busy but there’s still plenty of time to sleep! The group size is perfect. We had a range of people from different countries, all speaking English. We had a variety of ages and personalities. All travel taken was exceptionally well organised by Will with no need to worry about catching trains, planes, buses, bikes and boats. An absolutely fantastic 12 days and I will, without a doubt, be back on an intro tour very soon!

I would have never have found the amazing accommodation in Vietnam if I had travelled by myself. Will our guide made the tour as easy and relaxed as possible. His knowledge of Vietnam was great and extremely interesting. He was extremely aware of each individual and catered to all of us.

It is very apparent that the tour has been very well thought out as everything runs so smoothly. This was largely down to our guide Will. He knowledge of Vietnam and the culture was very good and he has obviously spend a lot of time and effort emersing himself into the culture and with the locals which makes you feel at home with them too. I thought Ha Long bay was absolutely stunning and the boat cruise was one of the best nights on tour. I also learned a great deal about a friendly fun loving people and was given the opportunity to meet a great variety of local people. Our tour guide Will seemed to have a great relationship with the local people who treated him as a friend and by extension they treated the group similarly. This made me feel less of a tourist and more a traveler embeded in the vietnamese culture which I personally really appreciated. Will was incredibly knowlegeable of the culture, gerography and history of the country. He was always more than happy to answer questions and never hesitated to provide interesting facts and stories about the places we visited. The tour group was really fun and I found it very easy to make good friends. Will always mucked in with the group on activities and nights out going above an beyond to make everyone feel included and encourage maximum fun to be had.

I didn’t think I’d be going home with so many facts about Vietnam. It’s very difficult to choose a highlight of the trip as if everything was more than I could have expected. The boat on Ha Long Bay was amazing. Never in a million years did I think I’d be sat in a hot tub in the middle of such a beautiful place at 2 in the morning. The food was another highlight. Will took us to some great places- I loved the food in the Lantern restaurant in Hanoi and the bread in Hoi An was next level. Thanks again to Will for making my first time in Asia such an amazing experience!

Sometimes I would have liked just a bit more safety measurements, as a big part of our group got sick halfway through the tour and there were not a lot of things that our tour guide did or maybe could do. Our tour guide Will was happy all the time and included everyone, except that he could’ve tried to include the quiet people a bit more as some were not always having fun. Another tip for him would be to check if everyone’s doing okay before heading out on kayaking or boats. The cities we visited were amazing and we got to do so many fun things that you do not think of doing when you travel by yourself. Overall I has such a great time with amazing people. Would definitely recommend!

The itinerary was a great balance of being both a little fast paced and chill and therefore we got to see a lot of the country without feeling rushed. Initially I was nervous about going on a tour alone but I ended up meeting loads of amazing people from all around the world. The activists included were enjoyable and not what I would have been able to find if I travelled by myself. I enjoyed the bike ride and dragon mountain climb in Ninh Binh and the cooking classes in Hoi an. Most of the accomodation was comfortable. I enjoyed doing the tour as I was a solo traveller and I was able to meet lots of people and easily travel Vietnam.

A busy trip with lots of traveling but am very glad I got to see Vietnam properly. Our guide Will was always full of energy even after the longest of nights out. How someone could be so pumped to start the day after a 6:30am start escapes me.

The balance between free days and activities is also great, with enough variety (cooking classes kayal biking hiking etc). Overall, really recommend the tour and Will was great and making sure everyone is doing good, has lots of insights and recommendations and was really organized with all the admin/scheduling things. We didn’t mind however another couple might have, but there is the option to upgrade the room if you want too. I highly recommend this tour and other with Intro Travel, as I’ve also previously done Bali Intro which was also good.

One of the best parts of this tour was that it was really accomodating to your travel style. If you liked to party, there was that option, but you never feel pressured to go out late every night. If you are a bit more independent there is plenty of free time to explore on your own, but there are still tons of activities done with the group.

I was surprised at how good each accommodation was especially the Ninh Binh bungalow hut and the boat cruise. Will has been a great tour leader, he really knows a lot about the Vietnamese culture. The highlights of the trip have to be the boat cruise in Ha Long Bay, cycling in the beautiful countryside, trying the Vietnamese food and the lanterns in Hoi An.

I was very nervous starting because i have never travelled before and i was nervous meeting everyone in the group but as soon as we got to the airport and met Brit, she made us feel extremely comforta…I was very nervous starting because i have never travelled before and i was nervous meeting everyone in the group but as soon as we got to the airport and met Brit, she made us feel extremely comfortable and happy to be there and really really excited instead of nervous. I enjoyed Bangkok so much because we got to do so many things in such a short space of time and Will and Brit made it so enjoyable and exciting all the time with activites. The place I enjoyed the most was Chiang Mai because we got to do so many amazing things and especially spending times with animals which I really love and we learnt so much from all the different guides. Also brit and Will made it very special for us introducing us to so many new people and new things too. They were always up beat and making us excited to go and do things and made an effort with everyone getting to know each other which was the best thing because i was so nervous about that especially. Each activity was very special and amazing and i enjoyed every minute of it, especially meeting, bathing and feeding the elephants at the end of my trip. Thank you to Brit and Will for making our time so special with everyone and making sure we always had a good time. I would highly recommend intro travel in the future to anyone who is starting to travel on their own, in a couple or a group as we met so many amazing people along the way and made so many insane memories.

Absolutely loved the 12 day trip! Everything was well-paced, with select times for hustle and bustle activities in Bangkok and more relaxing time in Koh Phangan and the national park. Highly reccomend this trip for any traveller ready to sleep in a bed that isn’t the most comfortable...not that we spent much time in the accommodation anyways! For more lush accomodation I would look at the Experience Tour instead of the Intro.

Visiting the countryside, cycling through rice paddies and climbing the steps to see the viewpoint. Staying in Hoi An was also amazing. I loved the atmosphere and the activities eg crab fishing in the bucket boats and releasing lanterns. Loved it- very cultural!

Lots of this is due to Will our tour leader.
With a massive personality and a great sense of humour Will has really made the holiday. Always staying positive and looking after us on the tour Will really helped everyone merge together as a group and create the friendship everyone has with each other and also him. With a good basic knowledge in the country and history Will, with the winning personality, managed to make everything interesting and probably even harder, keep everyone interested. I’ve been on other tours and Will is by far the best tour leader I’ve ever had. Not to mention one of the best blokes I’ve ever met.
One of my favourite parts of the tour was on freedom island, where we had a very relaxed day in a beautiful part of Vietnam. We took boats around the island and the view was bliss. After that had a very chill night in playing games with the group and topped off with a fire in the end. Such a perfect day.

My favourite activities were the kayaking at Halong Bay where we kayaked into a really nice, quiet lagoon. I also enjoyed the catfish fishing and hiking up the mountain. There are a wide range of activities on the trip which made it very diverse and different. The trip is great because you get to meet lots of different people and the places you visit and stay at are incredible. I had Will as my tour guide and he was great, he knew loads of information about everywhere we went and told us lots of interesting facts. He also took us to loads of cool restaurants and bars, and showed us the nightlife of Vietnam. He was a lot of fun and really made the trip for me! I would definitely recommend this trip for anyone, and it’s so easy to make friends if you’re traveling alone.

Fun packed Intro with lots of travelling and activities. Freedom Island was the highlight for me, basically a private island to yourself for a night. Although the 5 star cruise boat in Ha Long Bay was another favourite of mine, gorgeous luxurious boat for the night where you could party all night or just relax and unwind in any of the jacuzzi’s. The trip was suitable for all ages, our grouped ranged from 18-46 and Will the group leader made sure every one of us was happy every step of the way. Well worth booking up!

Will Anholt was a great leader and always took time to get to know everyone. He was knowledge, really fun, good st getting the group hyped and always up for a laugh. It wouldn’t have been the same without him and we had such an amazing group of people.
I would definitely recommend this trip, I loved the Bali version and will be booking the Thailand version!

After having done Thai intro and Bali intro... The Vietnam Intro was definitely the best way to end an amazing travel experience!! Everyday we did something really amazing. Everyday we did something really amazing. Hanoi was just such a fab city to start the tour with. Going around and seeing the city was absolutely amazing so many cool things to see. Took some bikes and explored Hanoi a bit more. We then moved on to Ha long bay... oh my word it was the best day and night ever staying on this 5star backpacker mini cruise ship was absolutely amazing!! Wish we could have stayed a little longer but the following day we moved on to freedom island.. private island stay was so nice and peaceful. Amazing view and you can go kayaking or just chill in a hammock. After that we moved on to ninh minh homestay. We stayed in some really cool bungalows near some rice paddies. Food was nice there too. Then we took bikes to go and see the lying dragon viewpoint that was just amazing and beautiful 468 steps up but trust me... it’s worth it!!! Moving on to Hoi An again lovely little town hotel room was awesome too. The way to the cooking class was so cool!! From a little boat onto some baskets where you can try and catch som crabs!! What a laugh!! Then you cook your own food!! Just delicious! Definitely won’t be hungry after that!! Finally we flew to Ho Chi Minh last destination of the trip. Hotel with a lovely family an amazing night out and exploring the city. Next day you take a boat trip to a family homestay where you do loads of activities such as mud fishing, tea party, cycling etc just great! Last day going to see the tunnels!! This journey has been absolutely phenomenal and our leader Will was absolutely amazing too! I can’t recommend this trip enough!! Thanks Will and introtravel it has been the bomb

Favourite place has to be Halong Bay, the oasis bay cruise was out of this world. Touring around Halong was unreal, the experience will be unforgettable. Kayaking through the bay was the best activitiy for me.

Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh are night and day compared to one another but the best City was Hoi An without a shadow of a doubt. The boat trip was unreal along with the private homestay and bike tour. The whole trip was a surreal experience, I couldn’t recommend it enough to first time backpackers or experienced travellers alike.

Accommodation was better than expected, slept every night very good. Transportation was always on point and if you wanted to do something more, Will was more than happy to explain what you could visit or do in your free time.
I'm never going to forget this trip and it has a special place in my heart! I really recommend it to everyone

My favorite part was staying in a homestay in Ninh Binh which had a beautiful accommodation and cycling and hiking activities.
Will went above and beyond to make sure that each person was enjoying the tour. His passion for introducing a beautiful country to others radiates everyday and his energy is palpable. I loved learning from him. 11/10 would recommend Will.

Particular highlights are the ha long bay boat and private island (much more luxurious than you expect), the Ninh Binh homestay is paradise and Hoi An. Will (our group leader) was absolutely awesome from start to finish. His energy, knowledge about Vietnam and general fun filled attuitude made him such an incredible tour leader. He knew the best places for everything, whether you wanted to eat, have a massage or get a suit made! He felt like more of a part of the group than a tour guide. In short, if you want to epxerience Vietnam, without worrying about anything and with a bunch of great people...this tour is definitely for you!

This trip surpassed my expectations, it is so complete. We got to visit all the importany things around Vietnam and we also got to convive with the Vietnamese since Will is so friendly with them and he has lots of friends that told us about their culture. Will, our group leader, was AMAZING. I think he is the perfect descripción for a tour guide. He is so friendly, charismatic, he knows everything about Vietnam and he explains it so good, he has always such a good actitud and good vibes that he passes them to all the group. I think that the members of the group and the group leader are what define your trip, and this group totally made my experience the best one I could ever had. The accommodation is all great quality and a great mix of styles, from swanky 5 star party cruise to beautiful bamboo hut at the homestay. I don’t think I’ve missed out on anything on our shirt time in Vietnam. Will was an amaxing leader, a fountain of knowledge with perfect organisation and so much fun. She was well informed, lively and well organised. Everything went very smoothly throughout the holiday. There are travel days which can be tiring but they give you a chance to rest at the appropriate times. It is a brilliant, safe way to travel and see Thailand. We travelled as part of a group who you spend a lot of time with. This may suit some people more than others. For me , it added an interesting social aspect to the holiday but at times I went to my room for a little space. I highly recommend this tour as it far exceeded my expectations.
