  Will I have my own private accommodation and if not how much is it?

    We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you; the only nights this wouldn't be possible would be on the overnight train, at the homestay in Northern Thailand, and potentially on Koh Phangan (dependent on numbers and the gender make-up of your group). Otherwise, we room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age.

    The accommodations are a mix of 2/3* hotels and you'll stay in some really unique and amazing spots, including floating bungalows in Khao Sok National Park and the INTRO beach front resort on Koh Phangan.

    Is it possible to get dropped off at the train station? We are looking into taking the train back to bangkok to see the whole country once again. And then taking the airplane there back home.

    Great question. We set an age range to make sure the style, pace, and overall vibe of our group tours stays consistent for everyone. Our trips are designed specifically for travellers aged 18–40s, which is why we have a maximum age limit of 49.
    
    This isn't based on attitude, fitness or ability. It's simply about maintaining the trip style and group dynamic that our travellers come expecting.

  We're currently looking into maybe booking this trip and had a few questions before we make a decision. We come from the Netherlands and were wondering if you could give us some more clarity on the additional costs besides the trip price. For example: Optional activities or excursions. Meals that aren't included, The flight, Tips. Any other common extra expenses we should keep in mind. Just so we can see the full cost for this trip. We'd also like to understand a bit more about how the booking process works: How do we book and secure a spot? Is there a deposit, and when is the remaining balance due? What are the cancellation or change conditions? And are the people who will join us English speaking?

    Our Thai Intro 18 day is our most popular tour option and the perfect mix of culture, adventure, nightlife and chill time. Our package includes al the amazing activities and experiences, like ancient temples, floating bungalows in the middle of the rainforest, island boat trips to amazing beaches, hill tribes, elephant sanctuaries, the list goes on! Plus awesome accommodation, all transport (including your airport transfer) and some meals, not to mention you'll also have an awesome group leader that will take care of everything, so you can relax and enjoy your experience! With all this included, you won't need to budget too much spending money. We usually recommend taking around 550 euros per person, but this obviously depends on how much shopping you're going to do and how many beers or cocktails you want to enjoy. You can secure your space on the tour by selecting your date on this enquiry page. Or, just let us know which date you'd like to join and we can update the booking enquiry for you. Full payment is required to confirm your booking via Tour Radar and you can find our cancellation policy below: More than 30 days = 25% cancellation fee. Within 30 days = 100% cancellation fee. The tour is English speaking, but we have travellers joining us from all over the world - and often have travellers joining us from the Netherlands too!

    All rooms are twin share and you will be roomed with someone of the same gender and as close to your age as possible. If you would prefer a private room this would come with an extra cost and we would need to check availability.

    Yes any flights during the tour are included, it's only the main arrival and departures to the countries that are not.

    And one last question: Are there about people in their 30 to mid-30s? Or many 18-year-olds?

    There are a couple of people in their 30's but most of these groups are 18-25, if you prefer a slightly oder age range I would recommend looking at the Thai Experience trip

    On Day 1 of your trip, there are no planned activities, so you can choose to arrive at any time. The group meets around 7pm for a welcome dinner, so we recommend arriving before then if possible. If not, no worries! We can still arrange your airport pickup, and you can meet up with the group afterwards. If you choose to arrive a day or two before your trip begins, that's absolutely fine! We can arrange an extra night at the starting accommodation for you, and you'll still be able to get picked up from the airport! An airport pickup is available from either BKK or DMK, so it doesn't matter which airport you will arrive in to as we will be able to get you picked up from either one. On the last day of the trip, there are no activities planned so you can choose to leave at anytime on the final day. The airport is approx. a 20 min transfer from the accommodation, and your Group Leader will be able to organise a transfer for you.

    A private room is not available during the booking process, as we are only able to add this on our end. However, once you are booked, just let us know and we will be able to add the private room on for you. To upgrade to a private room it would be an additional £400.

    The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 40's and 50's travel with us and have an incredible time! We generally find that our Premium tours are better suited to those in their 50's. Thai Experience tends to attract a slightly more varied age range than our Thai Intro tour, which tends to get travellers mainly in their 20s. But as long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly on any of our trips!
