We do not offer customised tours, so we wouldn't be able to accommodate that. We could potentially explore the option of you joining from day 4 of the tour, but we would need to check with the local team first, as it may be logistically challenging. Please note that if you were to join for only part of the tour, the price would remain the same, as it is a package priced tour. We have a 12 day Vietnam Intro tour that starts on the 2nd September and finishes in Vietnam on the 13th September, with the possibility of you joining on the 5th September in Ninh Binh. After Ninh Binh, you would travel to Hoi An and then Ho Chi Minh City. Would you like us to look in to this for you?

The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 39, but we regularly have people in their 40's+ travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly! We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. Please note, a private room wouldn't be possible on the overnight train.

Are the activities set in the itinerary compulsory or can we choose to do some things and on other days explore on our own?

None of the activities are compulsory if there's anything you don't want to do you won't be forced into doing it

Is it possible for a couple to get double rooms throughout the tour? Is it possible to book 2-person cabins for the night train?

If travelling together as a couple, we will make sure you are in a private room throughout, but we can't upgrade the overnight train which remains a 4-share cabin.

What activities are included in the Hoi An part of the trip?

In Hoi An, included in the trip you will experience the 'Basket Boats', take part in a Vietnamese cooking class, take a boat trip down the river and release lanterns, explore the night markets, take part in a lantern making class and visit An Bang Beach

Can I book an extra night at the last hotel we are staying in on the last day?

The hotel where the group stays at in Hoi An is the Thanh binh 2 Hotel. Your group leader can help book extra accommodation after the tour for you, whilst on the tour if you like

Could you confirm if a return transfer after the tour is included?

A return transfer is not included, however your group leader can help arrange this for you, along with any other onward travel you need

What is the single supplement charge and is there a list of hotels?

I have chronic fatigue and I was really worried about doing my first solo group tour, especially in a country I’d never been to, but it was such a great experience and the itinerary was incredibly flexible.
