We can look into the possibility of a private room for you. We room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings. It wouldn't be possible to have a private room on the overnight train and in Hanoi. Yes, the majority of our travellers bring checked luggage, and we haven't had any concerns with luggage being checked in as part of our internal flights.

I am a 35 year old female solo traveler & I was wondering what the demographics are in this group already so I can see if it's a good fit for me.

Our tours are for over 18's only. The majority of people on our tours are solo travellers aged 18 to 39, and our group on the 7th November is no exception! We have 20 people booked onto this start date so far, the majority are in their 20s but we have a bunch of 30-somethings in the group too.

Is there age restrictions?

Our tours are for over 18's only. The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 39, but we regularly have people in their 40's+ travel with us and have an incredible time! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you'll fit in perfectly!

we are late 50s and early 60s but very adventourous and active. on the other hand dont want a bunch of young rowdy people. maybe not the tour for us.

Is there an airport in Hoi An where the tour ends?

Vietnam Intro 12 Day finishes in Ho Chi Minh City. If you need to get back to Ho Chi Minh City airport it's a simple taxi ride.

Are vegetarian options catered for?

Vietnam is a very easy country to find vegetarian options. Our group leader will be there to help too!

Are airport transfers included?

My experience was elevated by Logan’s professionalism and kindness, patience and humour. He made my experience so much better and always made sure everyone felt included and was having fun. If you are thinking of this tour and have flexibility, I’d reccomend emailing intro to see what dates he’s the group leader for, because he’s just that good. My group was amazing too, but I wouldn’t have had such a good experience if it weren’t for Logan. He felt more like a group member than a leader in the best way. 10/10 vibes. I had the best time on the 12 day Vietnam Intro tour. I’ve traveled with similar companies before but loved that all the activities were included on this trip. The smaller group size made it easy to get to know everyone and we all gelled really well. The activities themselves were great and I would struggle to choose a favourite; from cruising Halong Bay to cooking yummy food, spinning in coconut boats and the hilarity of mud fishing. A special shout out to our group leader Taylor, not only did she make sure everything ran smoothly but she was endlessly kind, considerate and loads of fun.. she really made the trip special for all of us! I really enjoyed the tour and had such a good time over the 12 days. The group was a really nice mix of ages and everyone got on well, which made the whole experience even better. Ryan and Logan were great tour guides and always around if anyone needed help or had questions. They definitely went above and beyond to make the trip special and made everything feel really easy and well organised. I liked that the tour gave a good mix of city life and countryside experiences. Hanoi was probably my favourite place, and the Mekong Delta homestay was one of the most memorable parts of the trip for me. You fit a lot into the 12 days, so I think it’s a really good option if you want to get a feel for Vietnam before doing more solo travelling or travelling with friends afterwards. Overall I’d definitely recommend it.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 10th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 10th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with INTRO Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
