  Itinerary was good but organisation by on the go tours was appalling. They even forgot to book our taxi to the port so we nearly missed the ferry to Balestrand. They also failed to book our tickets for the optional fjord tour at Balestrand (even though they had our money for months) and then told us the tour was not running; it was running - we saw the boat return. We then tried to get our money back for the optional tour and it took about 20 messages with On the Go Tours and Tourradar to get them to finally agree to refund it. Also it was meant to be guided but only 4 people booked so it was not guided. They didn’t tell is this until the last minute. This meant we had to do a lot of work working out where everything was. Walking tour in Bergen and walking/bus tour in Oslo excellent; these were provided by a subcontractor to On the Go Tours, not them fortunately. Room at Bergen was horrible; we were meant to he upgraded to a superior room due to the no guide issue and yet we werent; we had to argue our case and get this on our own account; room still not nice - tiny and no opening windows. Room at Balestrand very nice, facing fjord. Room at Oslo hôtel absolutely disgusting - tiny compact room with no opening window and no air; worst room we have ever stayed in; again had to complain and the reception managed to swap us into another room for the second night. The money given back to us to compensate for the no guide was a tiny sum and not réflective of the large price we had paid for this tour due to a guide supposedly going to be there. The communication with both on the go tours and tour radar was a nightmare ; they were polite but never actually actionnes the issue until about 10 messages later. Whenever you got a message, you couldn’t read the whole message on your phone ; had to log in; a pain; the site was not user friendly I would never use your rader or on the go tours againShow more

  Not well organized - Many of us on the tour were told there would be 20 people NOT 43 Leader quit and you replaced with a very nice person but not knowledgeable about NORway- you needed 2 people not one for 43 people Bergen tour guide was terrible - don't provide anyone if you are going to employ this person I heard several other groups with much better leaders- one person trying to speak to over 40 perople doesn't workShow more

  The hotel in Bergen was in a great spot so that we could get to the ferry easily as was the hotel in Balestrand. It was a long day from Balestrand to Oslo with the scenery on the ferry, the Flam railway and the trains stunning. It was very good that there was a bus to take us from the station in Oslo to the hotel. The tours of Bergen and Oslo were excellent and the tour guide excellent. We were so lucky with the weather.   This tour delivers on the scenery at an affordable cost. Accommodations are good. Outstanding breakfasts at Clarion hotels. Good dinners in Balestrand. Using public boat transportation to Balestrand is less than ideal when going Bergen to Oslo route as to get window seats the queue for boarding we were told started at 6:30 for 8 am departure. We had interior seats so spent most of trip on top deck standing. Spoke to someone who rode 2 days later as you use next leg of route to Flam arrived 7:25 and got window seat. Why disappointing going Bergen to Oslo: as this was first viewing of the beauty you travel to see. Time in Balestrand is weather dependent for some activities. Lunch options in Balestrand very limited as 2 of 3 places outside hotel open at 14:00 and 15:00.Show more
