7 Days in Norway Fjords, incl. Bergen and Trolltunga
Mountains and fjords dominate this 7-day route covering Bergen's historic harbor, Odda's mountain terrain, and Folgefonna National Park. Highlights include 4 major hikes with Trolltunga's via ferrata climb and full-day glacier trek, plus 6 included breakfasts.

- Day 1
Bergen
Start your Norway fjords adventure in Bergen. The city center is easy to walk around. Spend your afternoon exploring the UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf and its colorful wooden buildings. A fellow traveler shares: "Even with the rain and wind, Bergen's charm shines through. Get oriented with the city early, as you'll want time to stock up on hiking supplies from the outdoor shops near the fish market."

- Day 2
Bergen to Odda
- Day 3
Buerdalen Valley
Your first real hike takes you through the "Valley of Waterfalls." The 10km Buerdalen valley trail helps you get ready for bigger hikes later. Wear waterproof hiking boots. The path gets muddy even in summer. A recent hiker notes: "The hike was epic, challenging but rewarding. Our guide explained all the daily events and made sure we were prepared for the terrain."

- Day 4
Folgefonna Glacier
Join an expert guide for glacier hiking on Folgefonna. They'll give you crampons and ice axes. The drive from Odda takes 75 minutes. Start early and wear layers. Morning temperatures on the glacier rarely go above 40°F (4°C), even in summer. You'll need to watch your step on the ice, but the views make it worth it.

- Day 5
Free Day in Odda
- Day 6
Trolltunga Hike
This iconic Norwegian hike takes 10-12 hours round trip. Leave by 6 AM to beat the crowds at the famous rock formation. You'll climb 700m in elevation. Pack at least 2 liters of water and plenty of snacks. One reviewer notes: "Anyone in reasonable shape can do this tour, but expect some steep sections where you'll use guide ropes to pull yourself up."

- Day 7
Odda to Bergen

"The panoramic tour in Oslo was very well organized, and I could see a lot of this beautiful city in a very short time," one traveler shared. Get the Oslo Pass for free public transport and museum entry. Visit Holmenkollen Ski Jump early before the tour buses arrive at 10 AM. Make time for the Vigeland Sculpture Park and Viking Ship Museum. Stay at the Clarion Hub Hotel, just 10 minutes from the central station.

- Day 3
Oslo to Balestrand via Flåm Railway
Head to Oslo Central Station by 7:00 AM for your scenic journey. A helpful tip: Book luggage transfer to Bergen for about $40 to avoid carrying bags on trains and ferries. Take the train to Myrdal, then hop on the famous Flåmsbana, one of the world's steepest train rides. One reviewer noted, "The travelling itself is part of the experience, with the panoramic views from the trains and cruises through the fjords." After exploring Flåm village, take the afternoon cruise through Aurlandsfjord and Sognefjord to Balestrand.

- Day 4
Balestrand & Fjærland
Stay at the historic Kviknes Hotel, which guests describe as "absolutely magical." From June to September, you can take the half-day Fjærland trip to see Bøyabreen and Supphellebreen glaciers. A recent visitor confirmed, "The glacier tour was well worth it!" The premium package includes dinner at Kviknes. Put on something nice and enjoy the amazing fjord views while you eat.

Of course that means that the included transfer from the airport of day 1, is not provided. Instead they do give you a hotel to hotel transfer, on day 1. Every day you sleep on a different city.
