      Bergen

      Take the airport shuttle to your hotel after landing at Bergen International Airport. Book the shuttle ahead since taxis cost a lot.       Bergen Exploration

      Oslo to Balestrand via Flåm Railway

      Take the early morning train (7:00 AM) from Oslo to Myrdal. A helpful tip: You can book luggage transfer to Bergen. While you won't have your main bags until Bergen, it makes the journey much easier. The Flåm Railway is one of the world's steepest train rides, going through 20 tunnels with amazing waterfall views. Take the 15:30 ferry from Flåm to Balestrand through Aurlandsfjord and Sognefjord. "The travelling itself is part of the experience," one reviewer shared, "with panoramic views from the trains and cruises through the fjords."

      Balestrand
