      So far we have 7 bookings, all are females in their 20s & 30s, and all solo travellers. The nationalities are Australian, German, Austrian and British! If you are travelling solo, the standard rooming allocation is to share with one other traveller of the same gender and similar age, but we also have the option of a private room upgrade for €600 EUR.

      The airport transfer is included for travellers staying at the group hotel from arrival. If you are flying out early and need us to book you any pre-tour nights we can get that sorted for you. If you're staying elsewhere, we just ask that you meet us at the hotel on day 1 of the tour instead.

      We stay at Hotel J in Negombo. If you are arriving before the start date we can book as many extra nights as you need at the tour accommodation. Even if you arrive a couple of days early, the airport transfer will be still be included if you're staying at Hotel J. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you can simply meet us at Hotel J on Day 1 instead. There are no activities on the first day but the group gets together in the evening for a welcome dinner at around 7pm.

      If you have the time for an extra few days before or after the tour, that's great! The South Coast has many exciting places to explore! The Sri Lanka tour ends in Mirissa which is on the South Coast, so it may be a good idea to stay on after the tour ends for your extra days. We have plenty of solo travellers that spend time before or after the tour exploring the incredible country with no problems at all!

      You'll stay in a variety of amazing accommodation whilst on tour. Whether it's a beachside resort, an Eco retreat or a modern hotel with a rooftop pool overlooking the city! The hotels will be 3 or 4 star hotels, in a twin share as standard. However, a private room upgrade is possible if you'd prefer (subject to availability).

      My husband carries insulin. Can you confirm that there will be mini fridge on each hotel

      Yes every hotel will have access to a fridge, most will be in your room, but when it's not available in the room, there will be a communal fridge that he can use to store his insulin

    • Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
    • Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before October 25th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 25th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with INTRO Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and INTRO Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "INTRO Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
