Gorillas permits were also cheaper in Uganda. We did a mix of water on Kazinga channel, chimps in Kibale and gorillas in Bwindi which was absolutely incredible.

Unbelievable, I was looking for adventure & Emma, my outstanding guide, did not disappoint. From the moment I was greeted at the plane (yes, wonderful touch, especially being a single woman traveling on her own) any anxiety quickly vanished. The travel host then took me through customs and we went through to arrivals where I was introduced to Emma. I have to admit, I was blown away by the beauty of Uganda, not only gorgeous but the people, the activities that were included far exceeded my expectations. What I enjoyed, actually loved, about Uganda was the 8 days of seeing not only animals, but other things this country has to offer. Emma was there every step of the way from showing me Murchison Falls to waiting at the top of the mountain when I came over the top and he was cheering me on to make it. Highly recommend Devine African Safaris for the bookings, the accommodations, and especially my guide, Emma, who without him, allowing me to be DJ in the car and he would sing along with me & we would laugh - I just know - it all came together as a Fantastic trip of a lifetime. We enjoyed our tour of Uganda immensely. Emma is a professional, experienced and thoughtful guide. He is also very knowledgeable and took care to ensure that we were happy with every aspect of the trip. The accommodation provided each night was very comfortable. We appreciated the abundance of well cooked and delicious food everywhere we stayed. It was obvious to us that Emma and Devine African Safaris have established an excellent network of contacts which resulted in our trip progressing smoothly. The itinerary provided a wonderful mix of experiences. There were many highlights, including seeing mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, lions and many more. We benefited from Emma’s sharp eyes on the game drives. He was very good at spotting animals and birds. Overall a wonderful trip. Thank you Emma and Devine African Safaris.Show more

I took this tour late December/early January (December 2022/January 2023). Boaz was my guide the entire time. He was awesome, easy-going, had good knowledge of the areas we visited and great knowledge of the animals. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Uganda and Rwanda with Boaz. I definitely recommend this trip. However, even though the trip is lots of fun with many beautiful areas and animals, it is quite tiring and includes a lot of transit times (vast country - how else to get around than to do a lot of driving?!). As long as you are flexible and respect local cultures and standards, I think this is a fantastic trip.Show more

Our travel consultant from DAS was extremely helpful when my friends and I were planning our weeklong Gorillas Trek and Safari. He was very detailed when answering our questions and had nice suggestions for better and cheaper lodges than our initial request. Gorillas permits were also cheaper in Uganda. We did a mix of water on Kazinga channel, chimps in Kibale and gorillas in Bwindi which was absolutely incredible with Herbert. He made our trip very interesting with his valuable input and experience tracking animals on the game drives. Meeting with friendly Batwa pygmies was also very nice. Everything was well laid out and we have no complaints about anything. I recommend DAS and hope my friends also share their appreciation soon.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Devine African Safaris Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
