Samuel was excellent. Saw hippos eagles etc Best hotel was sambura simba lodge was beyond expectations. Only down side was electricity was only available certain times of the day Great holiday and met some great people I. All parks were great - we were able to see the big 5 which was great. However, there is poor communication from the agency. Our first two nights’ accommodation were not what was on the itinerary. Our guide for Maasai Mara changed the itinerary so that we were out on a game drive for 11.5 hours but did not communicate this - he told us the night before we would be out until 4 however did not get back until 6:30 pm and then chose not to do the early morning game drive the next day. The company also says they accommodate for vegetarians but this is not true. On our 11.5 hour game drive, we were given a sandwich (which contained meat so we could not eat it) a hard boiled egg and an apple. Everyone else was given all of this plus a piece of chicken. We were starving by the end of it. We were also told that the boat was included, however, found out when we arrived at Lake Naivasha we had to pay $25 each. Despite this, it was still a good trip. Our second guide, Santa was fantastic. He was so knowledgable, friendly and very accommodating. Just be aware when booking that communication from the agency is not great, you need to pay extra for some things and accommodation at most places is not very nice - very rarely had a hot shower and food wasn’t very nice.Show more
